Country INKers Spring Retreat 2017

Country INKers Retreat Pillow Gift Key Ring

I will be sharing retreat fun here for a bit while I try to play ketchup with my business and house as well. April was a busy month with family visiting and my retreat, now it is back to bizness!

The last day of the retreat I got up to go pee at 5am (I know TMI) and when I got back to climb in bed I felt a horrible pain...been living in AZ since 1985 and this is my first and hopefully the last scorpion sting.

There was a little scorpion on the floor and I must have ticked him off, thank God it was me that got it and no one else, or my family the week before.  I killed him good with a shoe. Wendy looked on the phone what to do and she got me ice, Tracy gave me some tylenol for the pain, but within 15 minutes my tongue and lips were numb, my nose and throat felt funny, and my eyes were weird. So off Tracy and I went to the ER. By the time I got there, probably half an hour from the sting, I could not even control my eyes and my leg kept having spasms.

They gave me 3 antivenoms, 2 pain things and a naseau, 6 1/2 hours later we were back at the retreat house and I slept most of the day...the toe is still numb today, so weird eh? So I apologize for not being with it for the last few days.

But hey look at this cute little pillow gift the girls got.

Key Ring Sparkle Country INKers Retreat

So sweet eh? I loved sneaking their presents onto the bed. Tracy was doing it too when we came and stamped in my studio.  Hee! Hee! I want my retreats to feel like Founder's Circle felt and I hope Tracy and I do that.

Don't forget today is the last day to pre-order your catalog.

Country INKers Retreat Sneak Peek

Now that my family has left (tears were shed, but many memories were made). I am now getting my Country INKers Retreat stuff ready. My second annual Spring Retreat is coming up this week. I can't wait to see everyone. My BFF Tracy gets here Tuesday and she is going to cook for us again this year, she spoiled us last year and this year won't be any different.

Here is a little sneak peek of one of the things they will be getting. I will share more during or after the event.

Don't forget that the retiring list is out and some things are available while supplies last.

One Wild Ride Exclusive PDF and Video

We just had Stampin' Up's OnStage in Phoenix, this is a mini Convention that kinda combines a Regional with Leadership.  Holly from Stampin' Up! called  a day or so before I left for Texas and asked if I could present, as the Demonstrator originally going to do it was ill.  So I said sure. I only had about a day and a half to get my demonstration ready before I had to be there.

These are the cards I demoed with a new set called Beautiful You.  I love the lines of it and the font and sayings are beautiful. Not to mention it lets me color...yay!!

Beautiful You On Stage Demo Diana Gibbs Occasions Catalog Stampin' Up!

I will show the cards in better detail in January when the set is available for purchase.

That being said please keep in mind that as Demonstrators we can pre-order in advance. So December 1 this set will be available to preorder if you are a Demonstrator.  Hint! Hint! Join my team!! My Di's Country INKers family are all over the US. Don't be shy, you would fit right in.

Have an awesome Tuesday and thanks for stopping in.

Yesterday I finally blogged about  my Country INKers Retreat and it took up two blog posts so much to share...ok three I will show the make n takes tomorrow...

I talked about the fun stamping, laughing, and all that...and I talked about the eating. OMG! Look at just some of the food that my BFF Tracy prepared for us.

Retreat hor derves 2016

This was the hor derves (never can spell that) waiting for us when we came back from stamping at the studio.

Retreat breakfast 2016

This was breakfast one morning.

Retreat lunch 2016

This was lunch one day.  I had such fun shopping for serving ware before the trip. TJ Maxx and Home Goods are my fave stores.

Menu Retreat

I had found this at Hobby Lobby on one of my trips and it was perfect for Tracy to write out the menu so we knew what we were getting.  See why I put my weight back on?

Retreat candy table

In case anyone got hungry in between we had a fun candy bar.

Retreat candies 2016

The chocolate covered nuts I ordered from QVC...bad Di don't watch that channel... but they were so good and cute wrapped in our cone bags with a fun tag.  Oh the fenced grass dealies came from Hobby Lobby I had initially wanted something like that to put the Cake Pops in and then never found it so Jeff made me the cute log circle.  Then my friend Kim that made the Cake Pops...(check out Cakepops 101 on FaceBook) hollered at me and said they had these at Hobby I got them anyway and they were cute for the candy.

You can't have a retreat without pillow gifts...except I think I handed each gift out since not everyone slept at the retreat house, some girls went home to sleep and came back in the morning.

I showed the fun mason jar glasses they got yesterday, here are the other goodies they got.

Retreat pillow gifts 2016

I found these fun pencil cases at Joannes and filled them with stamping essentials.

Goodies retreat 2016

My sweet friend Francis Santos (Eco Soap Works on FaceBook) made lavendar eye pillows, lip balm and rose scented soap. Awww.....

Retreat pillow gift frame 2016

These were the last pillow gifts a fun framed post card I got from Kelly Rae Roberts.

I loved the saying.

This was way back in I don't know when that I went to IKEA getting stuff.

Remind me next year not to wait so long to post, it took months of planning and you should see me trying to find all the pictures.  I am sure I am missing some.

Tomorrow I will post the make n takes and if I find any other pics ok? I have class this morning and need to get my butt in gear.

Have an awesome Saturday and thanks for stopping in.

Marquee Retreat

I can not believe I still have not blogged about my Country INKers Retreat...Yikes! Well here goes...we will see if I get it all in one post or not...

In March I held my first retreat with my downline, local girls and out of state girls came and it was so much fun. We already have almost a full house for our April 2017 retreat already. We even added a day!!

Country INKers Retreat 2016 Swag bags

Here are the girls and their swag bags filled with all sorts of goodies.  They received stamps and accessories and make n take supplies, they also got pillow gifts each night too.

Retreat bags 2016

My sweet friend Tamra Davis (I need to find her etsy store it is Ta Da something) did the bags for us and I use mine all the time still. I wanted the bag to be Lands End like and hold tons.

Tracy making grocery list

My BFF Tracy flew in a couple days earlier and she was our chef and oh my gosh I had lost about ten pounds before she got here and it was not long that I had put them back on, the food was incredible. Here she is making up the grocery list!

Cake Pop Balls for Country INKers Retreat 2016

I had hinted at one time on my blog about Jeff doing something with a wood log circle and this is what it was for. Cute cake pops, that were ducks and chicks.  They were adorable and delicious!

The girls started arriving and it was so fun seeing their faces when they saw how fun the house was set up for them. I lucked out and was able to find a house ten minutes from mine that was huge, with a pool, a theater room and everything. This was extra nice because we could come to my studio to stamp (some of the girls had never been here so it was nice being able to show off the studio). Jeff was awesome cause if we needed something he would run it over.

Welcome packets 2016

Welcome packets were waiting at the door for everyone.

Goodie bags 1 2016

This was their first little goodie. Inside was a mason jar for drinking and each had a different colored wrap on it in their favorite colors. My most talented downline Leslie Herbert made them. Jeff drilled a hole in the lid, add a gasket and straw and voila'.

Retreat mason drinking cups 2016

The house even had a spinning wheel, so I set it up for daily prizes. I really wanted my retreat to feel like Founder's Circle felt for me. Being spoiled and feeling appreciated.

Robin spinning wheel retreat 2016

Here is Robin spinning for her prize. What did she get?

Stamping retreat 2016

Wendy, Robin, Elena and Patty working on their make n takes. We stamped at the studio for a while and then headed back to the retreat house and then they could work on their projects whenever they wanted. We also did a shoe box swap they worked at too.

The girls stamped, went shopping ate, and giggled, and even rested.  Some may have spent a whole day in jammies too. Gotta love that.

Denise stamping retreat 2016

Denise showing off her card.

Jammie stampin retreat 2016

Ashley and Susan stamping...maybe in their jammies...ha! These two make me so jealous they are a Mum and daughter duo and they make me miss my Mum so much. In fact looking back at all these pics makes me miss all these girls so much and I can't wait till next year.

I found this fun frame on one of my antique hunts that we used as a prop.

Michelle and I and the frame retreat 2016

Michelle and I trying it out while she stamps.

I loved how everyone got to know each other better and even when it was all over and everyone was saying goodbye and they could not wait till next year. They were already saying they wanted the same room and room mate next time!

Watching movies retreat 2016

We watched "New in Town' the last night, if you have not seen this movie it is a must.

I think I will blog more about my retreat tomorrow, this one got long...I still need to find more of my pics.

Have an awesome Friday and thanks for stopping in.
