Peek-A-Boo

3-D Items· On-Line Ordering· Punches· Stampin' Blends· Teach Me Tuesdays· Tutorials/Tips

20 Feb

It has been a while since I made a Peek-A-Boo Diorama Box Card and I could not resist doing one with my Darling Dinos Bundle, it was just “roaring” to be used.

Years ago I demoed these cards at a Managers Reception and Stampin’ Up! changed the name to Peek-A-Boo, so I kinda call them that and Diorama. I love them no matter what you call them.

Here is a side view of how cute and detailed you can make these cards.

Here is the other side, this set is perfect for making scenes!

Measurements:

Lemon Lime Twist – 8 1/2″ x 4″ scored at 2″ on each end.
Basic White Thick – 8 1/2″ x 4″ scored at 2″ on each end.
Pool Party – 6 1/2 x 4″ scored 1″ on each end.
If you are going to color on the inside like I did cut a piece of Basic White to 3 7/8″ x 4 3/8″ to stamp on and color and then glue inside back piece. Make sure to watch the video.

I’ve made a few of those over the years. First learned to make one way back in the ‘90s when I first joined SU!

They are beautiful cards (and they were called diorama cards back then lol 😉

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
