Happy 40th Anniversary! Hard to believe that Jeff and I have been married that long, it sure flew by. We met in 1983 and got married in 1984.
Here is a recent picture of us when we were at the Million Dollar Retreat, we ate at this amazing Mexican Restaurant and played musical bingo afterwards. I was looking on my computer for other pictures, and I thought I would share some.
So Young!
Here is Jeff and I when we were dating, and when we were carnies. Look how young we were, gotta love the perm. I am so blessed God made this man for me and he had an amazing Mum to bring him up to be the wonderful Husband and Father that he is. Ya know what? I have never seen him without a mustache…only in pictures.
Here is one after we moved to Arizona and my Poppa and Granny sent us tshirts that said I (Heart) Parkhill.
When we went home for Jeff’s Mum’s funeral we went over to the Swan Creek United Methodist Church that we were married at and Eric took our picture.
Hee is a picture of Jeff and I at Sundance taking a pottery class at the Million Dollar Retreat. I have a bunch of pictures I will share another time. We need to see if we can take a class here in Arizona because it was a lot of fun…and we can only get better at it.
Here is Jeff and I walking into the photography department at the home office. Not sure who has the bigger smile…maybe Jeff thinking gee this is the same outfit she wore in Illinois.
Here we are at Sundance, we had to take a ski chair lift to get up to here and let me tell you I am not a fan of heights or rides so I was glad to get my feet on the ground. I would not have done it if Jeff was not with me.

Happy 40th! My husband Paul and I reach this milestone 3 days before Christmas. I was a teacher and school (in Australia) often finishes close to my birthday on the 11th – hence the crazy timing. We have 2 beautiful daughters, 2 lovely SILs and 7 grandchildren we absolutely adore. God has been very good to us!
