How to do Card Layers

I think one of the most asked questions I get is how I do my card layers, so today I am doing my Di’s Shorts and teaching you how to do card layers.

Grab your paper trimmer and some cardstock, and let’s get started, you will be a layering pro in no time!

Measurement Layers:

Layers:
Card base 8 1/2″ x 11″ piece of cardstock scored in half at 4 1/4″ then cut in half at 5 1/2″
Inside layer:
4″ x 5 1/4″ and a strip 1″ x 5 1/24″
Outside layers:
4″ x 5 1/4″
3 3/4″ x 5″
3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″
3 1/4″ x 4 1/2″
3″ x 4 1/4″
2 3/4″ x 4″
2 1/2″ x 3 3/4″
2 1/4″ x 3 1/2″

    Thank you for making this video and the wonderful tips you shared! I never thought of scoring my card stock before I cut it. That is such a simple step that will save me a lot of time in the long run. I also appreciated the step by step instructions for cutting layers, as well as your large and easy to read measurements. It doesn’t matter how long one has been making cards, there is always something new to learn!
