I wanted to let you know that the Weekly Deals have been updated…but first…
Last night I finally watched Elvis, I didn’t know it was on TV yet till Jeff mentioned it, My Granny loved Elvis, I don’t know if it was his music or that my Uncle Mel looked so much like him. I remember we were on a trip in the car, probably to go see my Aunt and Uncle out west, when he died and it came over the radio and Granny cried and cried. There are certain times in my life I can remember what I was doing vividly and that is one of them. The Challenger explosion, when Lady Diana died, and 9-11 and the towers falling. Of course there are 100’s of happy times, but those stick in my head as I type this.
Added since original post this morning…now I will remember when the Queen died…I was driving home from the hairdressers and Jeff told me. So sad.
The movie is not what I expected in the way it was filmed but I really enjoyed it, even though it was so sad. It reminded me of Bohemium Rhapsody, that they could not have picked a better actor to play the role. Let me know what you thought about it. It sure has me googling a lot of Elvis stuff and thinking about my Granny and Uncle Mel. May they all rest in peace and I hope they are together in heaven.
So I better get back to letting you know about the updated weekly deals. These will change every Thursday.
They include a few things I have used lately. And even used in my August Class in the Mail. The cute boy and pupppies above use the Texture Chic Cards & Envelopes, and oh gosh don’t miss that I used the Piggy Dies on the card too. Those are only available while supplies last!
This is a cute slimline card that fits in the slimline envelopes that are for sale. I love how big these size cards are, as you can really make a cute scene with them.
Speaking of Class in the Mail, you only have a couple more days to sign up for my September one. Snowman Magic Bundle.
Check out my Teach Me Tuesday this week where I showed you the projects. Super cute, don’t miss out, I only have a limited supply.
Have an awesome Thursday and thanks for stopping in.
