I sure pray the last half of 2020 is better than the first half, how about you?  Don't forget today ends the last of getting a FREE Bundle with the starter kit.

I wanted to pop in really quick while I am stuffing envelopes.  This is the super amazing card from my June's Seasonal Card of the month. I can not get enough of this Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set. The matching die is awesome too. Look at that wheat, or whatever it is!

Here were the class packets as I was getting them ready to mail. I love my big country farm table it has so much room to spread everything out as I work!

Meatballs!!

Easy company meatballs ingredients www.stampingwithdi.com

So I was talking to my little sister Jacqui the other day and she was saying she was making our Mum's Easy Company Meatballs and I had not had them forever, so when I made Shepherd's Pie the other night I made double the mashed potatoes so I had some for leftovers, and I thought perfect I would do the meatballs to serve over the mashed potatoes...so I made them today.

Here are the meatballs in their little pile.

Easy company meatballs done www.stampingwithdi.com

Here they are overtop the mashed potatoes...and ready to be devoured. They were as good as I remembered and Jeff loved them.

Here is the recipe.

Easy Company Meatballs

2 lb. ground beef

1/2 cup fine bread crumbs

1/2 cup carnation evaporated milk

2 eggs

1 tsp salt

1/4 tsp poultry seasoning

1 - 1 1/2 oz. dry onion soup mix packet

10 oz can mushroom soup

10 oz can celery soup

Mix together the beef, bread crumbs, milk, eggs, salt, poultry seasoning and 2 tbsp of the dry onion soup mix. I use my kitchen aid stand mixer and it goes lickety split. Shape into meatballs (I use the large pampered chef scoopy thing so they are about a tbsp I think, that way they are all the same size) and pile them in the crockpot. I like to put the crockpot liner bags in mine as it makes clean up easier. Combine the soups and the rest of the dry onion soup mix together well. Pour over the meatballs. Cover and cook 4 - 6 hours on low. I did 6 hours. Serve over rice or with mashed potatoes. We did mashed potatoes cause the gravy is sooo good.  Enjoy!

Soooo....after I got that in the crockpot I wanted to make some more bacon jam.

It takes a while but is so worth it.

It is good on a lot of things, burgers, steaks, sandwiches, oh I even put it in canned baked beans...oh yum!

I use The Blue Jean Chef recipe.  https://bluejeanchef.com/?s=bacon+jam - I hope that link works, otherwise you can search her really easy, she makes the best stuff, and she even has a FaceBook page and she cooks on it, and I love to listen to her Canadian accent.

So there ya have it....In the Kitchen with Diana on a Saturday....oh my gosh a Friday. Jeff had it off so it felt like Saturday all day...so that is like an extra weekend day right?

Pineapple Wilson

Pineapple Card June 2020 paper pumpkin box of sunshine www.stampingwithdi.com

So I did a few Paper Pumpkin alternatives for the June 2020 Box of Sunshine Kit.

When I punched out the pineapple the piece of paper that was left reminded me of the Wilson volleyball on the movie Castaway which made me think of a face...so this is what I did...ha!

I used the Snowman Builder Punch and the Vases Builder punch to add arms and a mouth on my Wilson Pineapple.

I did a quick FaceBook Live in my Stamping With Di group so you can see the other cards.

If you want to get a Paper Pumpkin box each month you need to subscribe by the 10th of the  month to get that month's box. So if you want July's box, here is a sneak of the theme....you need to subscribe by July 10.

Teach Me Tuesdays - Studio Tour

Panoramic shot of studio www.stampingwithdi.com

Just like I promised yesterday, I did a FaceBook Live Studio Tour. I didn't think smart with my phone direction but it worked ok, here is the video.

If you have any questions, please let me know. It has come a long way since it was a garage.

I updated from 2011 when we did the first major update. It was fun to look back on how things have changed, and what has stayed the same.

The picture shows the laundry door...that is now gone since it practically fell off the hinges...and it is heavier than heck...I was thinking how cute would it be to put an old screen door on there?
