Framed Spotlight

Being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator· Di's Country INKcentives· Stampin' Blends

Celebrate Sunflowers framed spotlight card www.stampingwithdi.com

Oops, I forgot to share this one…this was for my team's card gut challenge for June, I showed them how to make this cool Framed Spotlight card using the amazing Celebrate Sunflowers set.

Added later: Oops, I am a dork this was a regular sized card, not a notecard…I used one of the rectangle stitched dies for the sunflower image and then cut my basic black a bit bigger to hide the ghost shadow that will happen when doing the framed spotlight technique.

Are you sick of seeing sunflowers yet? I hope not, they are one of my favorite flowers.

Don't forget today is the last day on the sale items. Starting tomorrow they will be put into mystery grab boxes.

Would you be willing to share the measurements of these card layers?
    Thank you!

Hi Julie, I am so glad you asked that cause it made me realize I had said notecards. This is a regular sized card. I used one of the stitched rectangles for the sunflower image that gets colored on. The black cardstock was cut a bit bigger to hide the ghost (missing parts of the image) part on the card.
So the sizes will just depend on your rectangle that you use and how much ghost space you get. I hope that makes sense. Hugs, Di

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
