Pop up bird ballad class all www.stampingwithdi.com

You are loving these Pop-Up Classes, and several of you asked if I would offer these in the mail. I am not able to offer them all in the mail because of how the classes are set up.
But after having this amazing class this weekend, I realize this one I could do in the mail....here is how you can get yours, to make the projects shown above.

You will need to go to my online store and order a pack of the 12x12 Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper #149592 and the Bird Ballad Laser-Cut Cards & Tin #149595, you will need these to make the projects. You will need to use host code 76P7KQQC . This will alert me that an order has been placed for the Pop-Up Class. I will then send you a paypal link for the Class in the Mail supplies and priority shipping which will be $15.00. Please make sure your email is correct when you place your order, so I can email you...Hotmail and MSN emails are being returned to me sometimes so if you don't hear back from me, holler.

I will make a video and send you a private link to the video with how to make your projects when you get your supplies.  You will need to use your own inks, stamps etc. to finish your projects as nothing will be stamped.

I used the stamp set Free as a Bird #149468 for my greetings. You will also need Stitched Shaped Dies #145372 or something comparable to cut circles out of your DSP for a couple cards. I also used Memento Tuxedo Black ink #132708, Cajun Craze ink #147085 and a Pool Party Light Stampin' Blends #144595. The adhesives we used were Multi-purpose Liquid glue #110755, Snail #104332, Glue Dots #103683, Dimensionals #104430 / #144108 and Tear & Tape Adhesive #138995.

I am not telling you all these supplies so you have to order them, but I just want you to know what we used so you are not surprised when you see the video, that way you can decide if you need it or have something to use in it's place before you order.

RSVP to order the Class in the Mail for the Pop-Up Class - Bird Ballad Tin & More is October 25 - the host code will be turned off after then and no more orders will be accepted. Class supplies will be mailed the week of November 4.

Please note this is a test to make these classes (if possible) a class in the mail.

Holler if you have any questions. Have a great week and thanks for stopping in.

Everything Festive

Everything Festive www.stampingwithdi.com

Working on Thank you cards.  You know when I send monthly thank you cards for orders they do not always say thank you.  I mean I do put a post it note inside that says Thank you, but that can be removed so the card can be used by the receiver. I figured this month I will send a card that can be used for Christmas...but does not say Christmas...just in case.

I love this Everything Festive stamp set, it is has some great greetings and the fonts are awesome. Remember when we first got computers and we could pick fonts...oh my gosh I remember taking forever to send a letter cause I could not figure out what font I wanted.  Now we have so many more, and I still love fonts.

What is your favorite font? I still like comic sans even though I heard there are groups out there for the comic sans haters. I do think it is funny though when I see a companies sign and I am like oh that is blah!blah! whatever the name is font.

Birds of a Feather Meets Mercury Glass

Birds of a Feather Mercury Glass Acetate www.stampingwithdi.com

I love the little Birds of a Feather stamp set, and don't get me started on the beautiful Mercury Glass Acetate...or that amazing Ruched Ribbon...I mean who does not want to wrap a present with that ribbon?

To earn free stamps click on the pictures below to order:

Did you know that the Acetate has a thin plastic film on one side to protect it while you cut it and design, then you simply peel it off before assembling your card. The easiest way is to feel both sides of the acetate. One side is a little rough...that is not the side you peel. Then take a piece of scotch tape and stick it on one corner of the smoother side and lift, the thin plastic film will come up with the scotch tape and then you are ready to use your piece. I personally glue down the rough side.

For the card above I put the glue to hold the acetate underneath the layered bird piece, that way the adhesive is hidden.

Look how adorable these Mini Curvy Keepsakes Boxes are using the Mercury Glass Acetate, it also uses the stamp set Tiny Keepsakes that comes in a bundle.

This was one of the table goodies at my Fall Social, it holds a Lindt Truffle, and I picked the blue wrapped one so I stamped the greeting in Blueberry Bushel, if you used a red wrapped one I would stamp in Real Red. These are so stinking cute!  I have one of my Pop-Up Class Series in November where you get this bundle. If you live locally, let me know if you want to attend.
