Getting Ready for Retired Stamp Sale

This 'n' That

6 Jun

What do you do with retired stamp set and accessories? Well if it is something I truly love I keep it, if not it goes in my sale.

But what if there are certain parts of sets I really want to keep? Then I do. Then I sell the rest of the stamps individually or they go in my door prize bucket…or my $dollar bin.

I also love using stamps around my house.

Jeff corner studio

Here is my little corner behind my desk in my studio…my cutie patootie…ha! Oh and the little bunny I gave to Jeff 25 years ago and it sat on his desk at work and then they had to tidy stuff up so he brought him home. So now he sits there.

Poppa and Granny corner

Here's a table in the corner of the living room. These are my boyds that represent Poppa and Granny, and I think I told you about Granny's Jesus picture with music. I can cry just looking at this picture.

Jeffs funny pic

Here's that fun picture of Jeff I took and then it was some app that made it kinda cartoony. I love it. It is hard to tell the little table but Jeff made it out of pallette wood, I swear that man is the true words from trash to treasure…I mean what he makes, not the man…he was a treasure as soon as I met him.

So I hope that gives you another idea of what to do with your stamps when you are not stamping with them.

I hope to see you at my sale on June 23.

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
