Cute Wooden Ornaments

3-D Items

Wooden ornaments Diana Gibbs

I am making these cute wooden ornaments for my Di's Country INKers Christmas party.  I saw a cute one by Helen Read and just had to do them.  I bought some wooden circles off of Amazon, I stamped the Snowflake Sentiments greeting with the Archival Basic Black pad. I hot glued the Stitched Felt Embellishment on the bottom as well as the silver 3/8" Metallic-Edge ribbon for hanging. How fun eh? If you follow my business page on FaceBook I did a quick FaceBook live the other day. If you earned an INKcentive for November you will be getting your own Silver Metallic-edge ribbon in the mail shortly.

I bought this stand a couple years ago and love it to put ornaments on for my team to pick from.

Wooden ornament Seasonal Chums Diana Gibbs

I stamped some with the Seasonal Chums. I also used the Archival Basic Black pad and this time I colored with the Watercolor pencils and a blender pen. I used the Quilted Christmas 1/4" ribbon this time.

I also used a white gel pen to add some highlights.  I don't know what one is my favorite? Which one is yours?

Vicky, it depends on your image so measure that first and get the size wood you need, there are many sizes to pick and the bag I got had multiples in there so some were too small for the initial greeting and felt so that is why I did some with just stamped and colored images and then they turned out so cute too. Hugs, Di

Did you purchase the stitched felt berries and holly? If so, do you mind sharing where you purchased them from?

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
