How can October be here so soon? Between you and me since I live in AZ, I love October, the morning and evenings are cooler and fall is coming no more 115 plus degree days.
I can't wait to show you my fun Fall card. I loved putting the Grateful sign on at an angle, the fall winds have picked up a bit ya know. I was going to add a fall wreath and I had one framelited out but less is more and I wanted to show out how cute the door is with the windows cut out. The framelit does that…cool eh? No fussy cutting anywhere on this card…oh wait, I did cut out the hanging string.
September was a busy month and so it felt good to finally sit down and make this card, I have not made a scene card in so long. I have been re-watching Breaking Bad so I don't have to really watch it, I can listen and know what is going on and look up from time to time. So the show is almost to the end. That has nothing to do with Fall…except Walter White is about to fall…ok that was a reach but anyway.
I am having fun with picmonkey and watermarks, but I am still learning it a bit. Not sure how to make the watermark spacing not be so far apart, I have to play with it more.
I had so much fun coloring the card too. I used the watercolor pencils and a blender pen, but I also used mineral spirits and blending stumps too, the watercolor pencils work great with those.
