I Love Sunflowers

Painted Autumn DSP Diana Gibbs Rosanne Mulhern case

I love Sunflowers, they are not my favorite flower of all...that is the Lilac, and oh I wish we could grow them in Arizona.  But I do love sunflowers, and I have seen some pretty sunflower tattoos lately as well.

I wanted to share another make n take from my Holiday Catalog BINGO.  I copied and tweaked a card I saw from Rosanne Mulhern, thanks Rosanne.

Everyone got the Black Rhinestone Jewels in their swag bag as well as some  of the Painted Autumn DSP and the Merry Little Christmas DSP, so this card was easy for everyone to make.  Remember you have until the end of September to earn a free pack of the Black Rhinestone Jewels. Click here to learn how.

See how pretty they are added to the center of the sunflower, just like seeds.

So do you watch Outlander? We are three episodes in and I can't wait till Claire and Jamie are back together, it has been so long since I read that book, I was forgetting about the mansion he will live in..so ugh how many more episodes will I have to endure ya ken? Jeff watches it with me and asked if Jamie ever goes to the future and I don't think that has happened in any of the books I have read, but I remember the first season it looked like he was watching Claire in her window.

Have an awesome Monday and thanks for stopping in.

BINGO fun!

BINGO fun Diana Gibbs www.stampingwithdi.com

I have been getting ready for my Holiday Catalog BINGO this Saturday. Here are the prizes before I get them ready.

Mini bows Diana Gibbs www.stampingwithdi.com

The little mini bows are so cute to add to the door prize as a cute embellishment, I might have a bit of a mini bow problem...they look cute in the milk bottle though eh?

Grand prize Diana Gibbs www.stampingwithdi.com

Here is the grand prize (3 stamp sets and a punch) all tied up with our new striped ribbon and a couple green sprigs too, I love it, there is wire on the edges of the ribbon so it is easy to put in shape.

Well I best get my butt off of here.

Painted Harvest Thankful for You!

Painted Harvest Make n Take Diana Gibbs cased from LeeAnn Greff

One of the things I am so thankful for is all the Demonstrator friends I have made since becoming a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator over 18 years ago. Holy moly that is a long time eh? Time really flies while you are having fun.

I was honored to be asked to be on the Advisory Board a few years ago and since then the Advisory Board Alumni, we like to call ourselves, do card swaps in the mail and when we get together at events.  These women are so talented and I love getting that envelope in the mail with my swaps back.  I loved all the cards but one in particular stood out, and this was a card by my talented friend LeeAnn Greff and I could not wait to recreate it.  I changed it a smidge, different ribbon and bigger punch but basically LeeAnn's card card, thank you so much my friend.  Oh and the girls loved it as one of their make n takes Saturday.  Perhaps this will be one of the cards for my Painted Harvest class in the mail as well...it is that beautiful. Today is the last day to sign up for that.

So I have hinted recently that I have been having some GERD issues...please stop reading if this bores you or grosses you out.  I had an EGD done and they said my schfinter is not closing (I only knew of one schfinter so was surprised to know I had another one) so that is leading to lots of problems, I sleep on a wedge, I take meds etc. But nothing seems to help.  So now we wait to see if the insurance will cover the TIF procedure.  If so I want it soon as our deductibles are met for this year...gotta love medical stuff eh?  Have any of my readers had this procedure? Did it work? Did it hurt? Any regerds regrets?

Ok I better get off here, and get back to work. I have Classes in the Mail to design and BINGO is next weekend.

Mini Pizza Box Cuteness

Painted Harvest Mini Pizza Box Diana Gibbs Stampin' Up!

OMG! I so love the mini pizza boxes, they are a cute little gift box. They hold our 3x3 envelopes as well...plus they even hold gift cards, so that is even cooler.  They have a slick inside so they are food safe, so add a cookie too.

This uses the beautiful set Painted Harvest and make it into a wreath and the greeting is from the new Christmas Quilt set.  Don't forget that you only have till the 18th to sign up for my Painted Harvest and my Christmas Class in the mail for September.

This was one of the make n takes from today's Make n Takes n Lunch I had with my downline, the girls loved making their candle and their mini pizza box, plus the food was awesome too...here are the girls...

What a fun day, we missed all of you that could not come.

Well we did our last meal with Blue Apron, we tried it for a couple weeks.  With my GERD issues (waiting to see if our insurance will pay for the TIF procedure - anyone had that?) it has too many ingredients I should not eat, plus too much of a mess, I mean I love to eat, but I hate messing with the greasy kitchen and all the dishes.  It was fun for the time we did it.
