This little chef is so cute, and he makes me want to speak french and bake. My Granny was the best cook and I remember we would want to taste stuff as she would bake. So she would give us a taste of something and then we would say "we didn't taste it" so she would give us more, this went on a couple times and finally she would say "you better taste it this time cause that is all you are getting". I remember one time she was baking and I thought she had melted chocolate and I was like "oh let me have a taste" and she was like "you won't like it" but I harped at her and finally she gave me a spoonful…and it was molasses!! Blech! She was such a fun lady and I miss her so much.
This would have been a great card to send to her. I stamped the chef and colored him with an aqua painter. Then he has a matching framelit and he was cut out lickety split. I stamped the greeting on the card and then I stuck him on with dimensionals so it looks like he is writing the greeting with the icing. Fun eh? I love the black checkered floor cause that would be in a bakery right?
You can't get the black and white gingham paper yet as it is from the holiday catalog…it starts on September 1. So close eh?
