Stucco, Texture & Doors

This 'n' That

19 Feb

House stuccoed

Eric's little house is moving right along. We have a couple rainy days this weekend but hopefully it will be ok.  We are painting inside, we have a temp front door on while the real one comes in and they had to re0rder the closet doors other than that onward and upward.  Tile will be delivered and installed this week I think, then we can have the fridge delivered that we bought in October, yes…this has been going on for a long time.

Cabinets are ordered as well.

As you can see the house is stuccoed on the outside and now it needs to cure a bit before it gets painted. I am thinking that will be one of the last things to be done, we are painting our house at the same time so they are identical.

Kitchen

Walls are textured. Here is the kitchen where the fridge will go.

Closet

Eric's closet, luckily he does not have as many clothes as me…but we did tell him it was time to purge, and he does not need to bring all his belongings out.

closet shelves

Here's the closet with the shelves added. Now I can measure and shop for some baskets to put undies and socks in.

doors

I love the look of it with the doors on and the trim…gets realer and realer all the time.

water heater closet door

I laugh at the tall skinny door in the bathroom that is the water heater closet, we are going back and forth on getting a regular water heater or one of those smaller units that just heat the water up as you need it. If we go that route this will be extra storage space in the bathroom and Eric's house will be even more energy efficient.

bathroom door

Hmmm, what picture can I hang on the wall there between the bedroom and bathroom door? Ha!

Well that is all I have to show till this week.

Hi Toni, inside painting started yesterday, they just need to finish the doors, today is septic hook up. The tile should be delivered and installed this week too. Hugs, Di

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
