Inside the Lines Calendar Diana Gibbs

I promised you yesterday I would come back (after I did my nails) and show you the cute 2017 Easel calendar we did at my Di's Country INKers Christmas party. As you can see I picked OPI "I Cannoli Wear OPI" nail color...ha! One of my go-to's.

Here's a quick video how to make the cute calendar. The 2017 date I just did on the computer and printed it out. The calendars I got on Amazon. Oh and I have a goal for 2K subscribers on my YouTube channel by the end of the year, so if you have not subscribed...please think about it.

What fun eh? Who's gonna make a bunch of these?

Updated:  I had a few readers ask for measurements.

DSP - 3 7/8" x 5 1/8"

Black layer - 4" x 5 1/4"

2017 date - 6/8" x 3 7/8"

Black layer - 7/8" x 4"

I did not give a calendar layer as that will be decided based on the calendars you use.

I have a bunch of goodies to make up for Eric's work so I need to get off I have a bunch of swaps to make. Yowza!

Have an awesome Monday, I sure hope all your Christmas shopping and wrapping is done so you can take it slow this week and enjoy the rest of the year.

Pretty Pocket Card Sale-A-Bration Diana Gibbs

Today was my Di's Country INKers Christmas Party, we always have fun getting together, eating, laughing and stamping. We got to welcome  Nita Kauffman to our family this year.  She fits in perfect and if you live in the Kearny, AZ area look her up, she is uber talented!  As always we miss all the girls that can't make it, whether busy, under the weather or out of state, you are always there in spirit.

We made a couple make-n-takes, this one is from the Sale-A-Bration (SAB) item Pretty Pocket Card is so cute and easy!  We also did a 2017 calendar and I will show that later as I need to do a video for that one.

Pretty Pocket Card Kit SAB

I just know this is going to be a popular SAB item. The colors are a bit off, I took them at night.

We had Eric's work Christmas party tonight and as we drove home he laughed from the back seat and said "I not dance this year!" We said "yep you lucked out this time!"He was glad, he did not want to dance. He did however get a Teddy Bear from Elvis and he gave it to his friend Kenny to give to his girlfriend.

Well I gotta get my nails all purtied up for my video tomorrow...yep I'm a bit anal about that...I mean my videos are talking hands right? They oughta look nice.  Hmmm....what color should I pick?

Have a blessed Sunday and thanks for stopping in.

Beautiful You Rain Diana Gibbs Stampin' Up!

"I beg your pardon I never promised you a rose garden. Along with the sunshine there's gotta be a little rain sometime."

This card is perfect, things don't always go as planned but then we need to celebrate when they do and realize that things take longer for a reason. This was one of the cards I demoed at the OnStage in Phoenix, using the new set "Beautiful You".

Here's this beautiful song to listen to as I explain what I mean.

We put an acre and a quarter up for sale but we told Eric whether the land sold or not,  in September we would start working on building him a little house. He can not live alone but we all need our own privacy...I mean he is 28 after all. So we started to get stuff in the works and then this happened and that happened and this delay and that delay.

Eric's little house fortune

But we finally got the special permit approved and the house plans have now been submitted, now we just wait on them. Hurry up and wait right? This little fortune we got at dinner one night a while ago was perfect eh?

So hopefully after the first of the year we will be breaking ground on Eric's little house (we had hoped to have him in by Christmas...geesh oh pete eh?).  Scott, who built our house is going to build Eric's little house. He is the best and so honest and down to earth. It will sit beside our house about 25 feet, just 20x20 big enough so he has space and independent living but still have our help. We did not want to put him in a group home so this worked out best for all of us. I can't tell you how excited we all are.

Beautiful You Diana Gibbs Occasions Catalog Stampin' Up!

So get out that umbrella maybe it is the sun shining down on your good fortune that you need it for...although they are calling for some rain this weekend...ha!

I will post pics as we start doing it...oh and Eric won the Santa beard contest at work and they called to see if they could dye it platinum blonde, I will share that pic too whenever they do it.

Have an awesome Friday and thanks for stopping in.
