"I beg your pardon I never promised you a rose garden. Along with the sunshine there's gotta be a little rain sometime."
This card is perfect, things don't always go as planned but then we need to celebrate when they do and realize that things take longer for a reason. This was one of the cards I demoed at the OnStage in Phoenix, using the new set "Beautiful You".
Here's this beautiful song to listen to as I explain what I mean.
We put an acre and a quarter up for sale but we told Eric whether the land sold or not, in September we would start working on building him a little house. He can not live alone but we all need our own privacy…I mean he is 28 after all. So we started to get stuff in the works and then this happened and that happened and this delay and that delay.
But we finally got the special permit approved and the house plans have now been submitted, now we just wait on them. Hurry up and wait right? This little fortune we got at dinner one night a while ago was perfect eh?
So hopefully after the first of the year we will be breaking ground on Eric's little house (we had hoped to have him in by Christmas…geesh oh pete eh?). Scott, who built our house is going to build Eric's little house. He is the best and so honest and down to earth. It will sit beside our house about 25 feet, just 20×20 big enough so he has space and independent living but still have our help. We did not want to put him in a group home so this worked out best for all of us. I can't tell you how excited we all are.
So get out that umbrella maybe it is the sun shining down on your good fortune that you need it for…although they are calling for some rain this weekend…ha!
I will post pics as we start doing it…oh and Eric won the Santa beard contest at work and they called to see if they could dye it platinum blonde, I will share that pic too whenever they do it.
Have an awesome Friday and thanks for stopping in.
