Jolly Friends Santa's Little Helper Diana Gibbs Stampin' Up!

I have been noticing recently that I don't see as well out of my left eye. Sometimes it almost feels like an aura migraine but never amounts to all the glittery lights. So when I was in Texas (since I never did any driving there) I would close my left eye and I could see clear as day with my right, and when I closed my right it was blurry with my left so I made myself an eye appointment when I got back home…geesh it has been 3 years since Jeff and I had our eyes checked. Time flies when  you can see ok.

So after my eye exam, come to find out I have a little teensy weeny cataract in my right but I have a size 1 in my left. So my right eye has not changed the RX but the left has quite a bit…ugh. So eventually when it gets to 2 1/2 then I will need surgery. I sure hope new glasses make a difference. I think the doc says I will have 20/20 in my right but only 20/25 in my left. Sucks to get old eh?

Not only do I have the beginning of cataracts so does Rudolph…so Milton the Moose to the rescue, he's gonna help Santa deliver those special presents Christmas Eve.

Jolly Friends Santa's Little Helper Milton the Moose Diana Gibbs Stampin' Up!

Why Milton? Cause that was my Poppa's name and it's my story…ha!

Jolly Friends Tin of Tags Diana Gibbs Stampin' Up!

Look how cool the Tin of Tags greeting fits in the Birthday Banners banner…I just had to bend the photopolymer stamp set just a bit to fit…voila'.  These sets with the banners are a must. I love them I just colored the edges a little with Crumb Cake to add some dimension. Same with Milton the Moose, he is stamped on Crumb Cake with Archival Basic Black and I quickly colored him with my Aqua Painter using Crumb Cake and Smoky Slate. Don't color and rub too much or you will tear the cardstock.

I saw a similar card on Pinterest by Jo Blackman and this is my take on it. Thanks Jo.

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
