You know me I could color for hours…and days…and well I did. I had 45 swaps to get done and I just had to do these cute moose. I saw an adorable card by my friend Jeanne Streiff and this is my take on it. Thanks Jeanne, and see you soon!!
I always do one as my play one (you can see it laying on top). This one get me to place all the pieces right and get my colors perfected. Then I stamped, and used the Project Life Journaling Pen to doodle around the edges. I also corner rounded my edges with the Envelope Punch Board. They reminded me of playing cards.
Then I started coloring, all the highlighting was done, and then the antlers.
Then the cute face. Don't you just love him? You can actually order him on September 1 from the Holiday catalog. Want him now? Join my team and pick him and all his friends with your starter kit.
Then it was color the scarf, add the cute hat – it has a matching punch – Jolly Hat Builder Punch and a cute jingle bell, the jingle bell I actually punched out with the new Cookie Cutter Builder Punch, it is the perfect size!
I colored on shimmery paper with an aqua painter. Ink colors are Soft Suede, Sahara Sand, Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive and Smoky Slate. Pool Party is the cute little snowflakes. To put a highlight on the hat I just used Whisper White Craft refill.
The greeting from Tin of Tags was perfect! I remember growing up in Canada, scarves, toques, mittens, and snow suits were a must on blustery cold days….just make sure to go to the bathroom before you get all wrapped up. Remember the little brother from A Christmas Story?
Have an awesome (please tell me I am not the only person to hover my mouse on my computer by the date to see what day it is) Wednesday and thanks for stopping in.
