Please Vote ~ July’s Virtual Meeting Make n Take Challenge

Di's Country INKers

31 Jul

This is our third and last  month doing a challenge.  From now on my team will just upload their card into our private FaceBook group I won't have it be a competition, I just wanted to do it for a few months for fun, and it has been.

During my team virtual meeting (we do it on FaceBook so no matter where anyone lives all can attend) I do a quick video make n take and then ask if they want the card guts (pieces to make the card) sent to them.  If they wanted a chance to win a goodie (this was optional – they don't need to play to get the guts) they had to send back their tweaked card so I had it by the 28th using the supplies (they could add, alter, and use stamps they had from home, it just has to be current) and I would post them here for you to vote as well as class attendees that come to the studio. Fun eh?

Diana Gibbs Stampin' Up! Virtual Meeting Challenge Card

Above is the original card that they got the "guts" for…nothing stamped just the pieces.

Please vote (only once please) on the following cards in the comments section below the post with the Card Number you like the best, I will close voting by August 7th, thanks so much!! Feel free to tell my why you picked the card you did, I love reading the why.

Card 1

Card 2

Card 3

Card 4

Card 5

Card 6

Card 7

I love how they are all different.  Such a fun challenge with my team, a few even drove their cards over so they did not miss the deadline, one even paid priority postage to get it here, they are sure determined eh? Love that!

If you would love to join my amazing team of Demonstrators from all over the US now is a great time we can pre-order out of the new Holiday catalog starting in August, you have to love that.  I would love to chat more about it.

Have a blessed Sunday and thanks for stopping in.

My choice is number 5 with the teddy bear. While I am not drawn to teddy bears as a rule, this one is really well done and it is the focal point for certain. The others don't seem to have a real focal point and my eye wanders. In number 5 I truly SEE what the focal point is and my eye is drawn to it. Well done!

Number 6 is my favorite, just because it has a more realistic or natural feel to it.

I like card number seven, the person who made it thought outside of the box and was very creative. Plus I love anything floral!

My vote goes to Card #4.
We lived on our boat for nine winters (6 months at home, 6 months on the boat). We traveled the Florida Keys and even went to the Bahamas three of those winters. We loved to snorkel and even scuba dive a few times. When we saw a sea turtle we were so amazed at their grace. To see such a creature was a treat! So my heart went to that card as soon as I saw the sea turtles and ship's wheel. They reminded me of those days.
Thanks Dianna for this fun game! I'm going to miss it. Julie and I always compared notes as to which card we voted for.

    Hi Diana!

All the cards are great but my favorite is Number 3. I like to cute elephant and the creative use of the sentiments. Thanks for asking for our opinions. I love your original…the clean, simple lines appeal to me.

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
