Last week or so I posted a "What Does the Fox Say" card and my sweet friend Sam (Pootles) Hammond said it was an earworm post, and I was like what? We have earned next year's incentive trip to Thailand and we are not sure we are going…too far away, mosquitoes, needing shots, water bottles..yeah my germafobe is working overtime. So I was like oh no is that a bug in Thailand? Nope. See below…in case you didn't know like me.
An earworm, sometimes known as a brainworm, sticky music, or stuck song syndrome, is a catchy piece of music that continually repeats through a person's mind after it is no longer playing. Phrases used to describe an earworm include "musical imagery repetition", "involuntary musical imagery", and "stuck song syndrome".
So I am hoping that my post title today is not as bad..oh you never heard the song? You can thank me later…
