Yesterday I finally blogged about my Country INKers Retreat and it took up two blog posts so much to share…ok three I will show the make n takes tomorrow…
I talked about the fun stamping, laughing, and all that…and I talked about the eating. OMG! Look at just some of the food that my BFF Tracy prepared for us.
This was the hor derves (never can spell that) waiting for us when we came back from stamping at the studio.
This was breakfast one morning.
This was lunch one day. I had such fun shopping for serving ware before the trip. TJ Maxx and Home Goods are my fave stores.
I had found this at Hobby Lobby on one of my trips and it was perfect for Tracy to write out the menu so we knew what we were getting. See why I put my weight back on?
In case anyone got hungry in between we had a fun candy bar.
The chocolate covered nuts I ordered from QVC…bad Di don't watch that channel… but they were so good and cute wrapped in our cone bags with a fun tag. Oh the fenced grass dealies came from Hobby Lobby I had initially wanted something like that to put the Cake Pops in and then never found it so Jeff made me the cute log circle. Then my friend Kim that made the Cake Pops…(check out Cakepops 101 on FaceBook) hollered at me and said they had these at Hobby Lobby…so I got them anyway and they were cute for the candy.
You can't have a retreat without pillow gifts…except I think I handed each gift out since not everyone slept at the retreat house, some girls went home to sleep and came back in the morning.
I showed the fun mason jar glasses they got yesterday, here are the other goodies they got.
I found these fun pencil cases at Joannes and filled them with stamping essentials.
My sweet friend Francis Santos (Eco Soap Works on FaceBook) made lavendar eye pillows, lip balm and rose scented soap. Awww…..
These were the last pillow gifts a fun framed post card I got from Kelly Rae Roberts.
I loved the saying.
This was way back in I don't know when that I went to IKEA getting stuff.
Remind me next year not to wait so long to post, it took months of planning and you should see me trying to find all the pictures. I am sure I am missing some.
Tomorrow I will post the make n takes and if I find any other pics ok? I have class this morning and need to get my butt in gear.
Have an awesome Saturday and thanks for stopping in.
Wow! I bet everyone loved the retreat! The food, treats, and pillow gifts look just fantastic. I'm sure everyone had a great time.
They sure did, it just flew by…that is why we added a day for 2017. Hugs, Di
Again.. you sure do take care of your girls! what a great retreat that must have been!!!
