Wow, not sure what else to say. What a sobering feeling going today. I had a bit of a belly ache and was afraid I shouldn’t go. You can’t take purses or bags so where would I put my carmex
or heaven forbid an extra pair of undies if I had problems. But I went and am so glad I did. We even met a soldier who was at Pearl Harbor. If you ever get to Hawaii you really need to go.
The tour guide said to make sure to take pictures of the oil because when you look at them later you can see faces. Here is one I took on my phone and I do see a face to the left. Tell me if you see it. You’ll need to blow it up a bit. Pretty eerie. I took more pics on my camera and I can’t wait to check them when i get home.
I’m headed to bed. Another busy day tomorrow. Sailing and snorkeling.
Have an awesome Friday and thanks for stopping in.

Oh my goodness Diana, I DO see a face. When I opened it in larger mode, it took my breath away when I saw it.
I've been the to the USS Arizona Memorial and it is such a somber feel. My heart breaks for those who lost their families there.
Thank you for sharing. Can't wait to see more pictures!
Wow, I do see it! So eerie but beautiful and comforting too in a way. My late uncle, Tom Fallon, was stationed at Pearl Harbor then & we grew up hearing stories of that fateful day so thank you so much for sharing your photos.
