What a fun day yesterday was, it was DiVa Day (I do 2 a year). My downline can earn the day if they do one of these things during the 6 month qualifying period. They can either promote, recruit or maintain their Manager title.
I put up a quick sneak peek on Instagram.
Love getting close ups.
Another little tease I posted.
Welcome DiVa's on the fun chalkboard sign Jeff made me.
The table all set up. I had 10 girls total earn the day. The out of state girls get their goodies mailed to them since they don't live in AZ to attend (although they can totally come and a few say they will some day)…notice I say girls…we don't have any boys on our team yet…we would love to start saying boys and girls…guys and dolls…or ladies and gentlemen if you prefer.
The DiVa's!!! Candy, Julie and Gabby. They got here around 11 and then I took them to lunch and then we came back to stamp. I love listening to them chat and get to know each other, they all have busy jobs outside of the home as well so it just goes to show you, you can do both.
Here's the one little tease, my sweet friend (all my friends are sweet) Winona Semler (thanks Winona) had found these cute light bulbs when were are Leadership in Orlando so I got some when I came home. I intended to put candy in them but then the bottom label said not for food…so that freaked me out. So I loved how they turned out with the gold sequin trim in them.
I also picked them up a cute little totem guy from Hawaii.
With the new catalog right around the corner, I thought this guy was perfect. Sure order it all!!!
Here is what I showed a peek at. It is one of our wood mount cases, I had Jeff drill a hole in the side to insert the knob.
Now it is easy to pull off the shelf. I got this idea from my sweet friend Becky Roberts (thanks Becky), she used cabinet pull handles, but I had these beautiful knobs and used them instead. We used the beautiful stamp set Butterfly Basics.
They made 4 each of these cards and matching envelopes, I had done a card similar (Thanks Inge Groot) in class like this and changed the colors up and added the gold sequins and some pearls. Having beautiful quick cards on hand is a must. Plus it shows the girls how easy a class can be, I mean wouldn't you love to do this as a class? Leave the greetings off and add them as you need them this is also a smart way to always have cards ready to go.
They also did 4 of these with matching envelopes. They could use whatever greeting they wanted on the card. This card I cased from my sweet friend Julie Davison (thanks Julie). What is super is all these stamps and inks are in the new catalog so the girls can do this class anytime.
I made Eric take a pic with all of us…he had to do it a couple times.
Then I made him get in the picture too, see how thrilled he is? Gotta love my boy.
He was out helping Jeff and Joey install a new a/c for the shop, now Jeff won't cook as he does my honey do list stuff…oh and things he wants to make too!! Ha!
Well I gotta get my butt off here and get the out of state girls goodies stamped and ready to go in the mail tomorrow…oh wait tomorrow is a holiday, Tuesday.
Have a blessed Sunday and thanks for stopping in.
So happy for Jeff. He deserves an AC unit for his shop. Glad you girls had a great time.
