Stamp Out Autism Blog Hop

This 'n' That

Stamp Out Autism

You probably found your way over here from my sweet sister from another Mother (we look so much alike) Lisa Curcio. Thank you Lisa for that adorable project and thanks to our Team Captain Lee Conrey for getting this Blog Hop coordinated, I am honored to be a part of it.

Being the Mum of a Special Needs child is scary, we always wonder what will happen to them when we are not here anymore.  April is Autism awareness month and you are in for a special treat as you hop along with me and the rest of the stampers.

Stamp Out Autism Tip

1 in 50 Children living in the US has a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder.

I love the stamp set Boys Will Be Boys and I am sure if you have a little boy (or a little girl) in your life you have stepped on one of these in your bare feet in the middle of the night. Ouch!!

Stamp Out Autism Boys will be Boys Diana Gibbs

I will be donating my 20% instant income on all orders placed in my store from April 11 – April 18 If you would rather donate on your own please go to my Autism Fundraising Page. Thank you so much, I really appreciate it.

Love your card!! My son was one of those that had Legos from one end of the house to the other. Walking barefoot at any time was like stepping into a mine field. Thanks for the memories.

Your niece Jade will be very proud of you for supporting this cause. Autism holds a very special place in her heart.
Right now she babysits twin autistic boys and just loves them to pieces.
It is so very important to bring awareness and support to causes like this.
    Love you
    Jax

Diana – I love how you've incorporated the lego pieces. Wish I'd thought of that – except that two of us would have used them. 🙂 Great project!

Why, yes I have! And not in the dark either…broad daylight. Those things are painful. But I'm a Lego fanatic myself. So I deal with it. Great card, Di!

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
