So the other night as I was watching TV, Toby barked to be let out of the bedroom. Sometimes he goes to bed with Jeff and other times he decides he wants out with me (Jeff gets up way early so he goes to bed early and I am a night owl…who can sleep in if I need to). As I opened the door I noticed a little lizard by the door on the carpet. He was not big like this guy or this guy. I bent down to get it to let it outside and it was hard and I was like ugh, it is dead, I don't mind picking up a live one but a dead one…no way.
So I went to get a spatula (hey' I'd wash it after!). As I bent down to slide the spatula under him, he moved…he was faking me out. So then I tried to grab him and he scooted into the bedroom along behind the dresser. No way was I going to try to catch him and wake Jeff up. So an hour or so later when I went to bed for real, I opened the door and the darned little turd was there again in the same spot. I think he was going towards the light. I was not falling for it a second time. I bent down and scooped him up in my hands and escorted him out to the back patio.
OK enough critter talk, let's show a beautiful card from Spring Fling we cased and tweaked from Mercedes Weber, thanks Mercedes!

Have an awesome Saturday and thanks for stopping in.
OMG, I couldn't stop laughing! Are you performing at the Improv for best comedian? Nothing like being faked by a lizard. Love the card, too.
Too funny about the lizard; they are great at playing possum! Your card is one of the best uses of the large butterfly Thinlit that I've seen. It doesn't overpower the card since it's the same color. It just adds beautiful texture and interest. Great Job!
Hi Dee, Yes on the third Tuesday of the month only when the moon is full…ha! Hugs, Di
Hi Connie, In all my years I have never had one do that, not sure if it is cause Toby was right there. Dropping tails off I have seen but being stiff as a board…nope. Hugs, Di
Okay so I read this one after I read the other one…..you are willing to pick up a DEAD animal with a utensil you EAT with, but putting live animals in the tub is out of the question?
You two crack me up!
but I was going to wash the spatula and I don't know why Jeff won't let me put them in the tub…he says they are outside animals. ha!
