Not these kind…

Duck Tales

…these kind. Check out the ducks wagging their tails.

I can hardly wait till they are big enough to be in the run so I can actually play with them and walk around with them.  Probably in a few weeks or so we will move them into the run inside this brooder so they all get used to each other through the wire.  Oh and Georgette almost quacked today. They make lots of noises when they are in the water and after.

Have an awesome Friday and thanks for stopping in.

Diana,I've been wondering……why did you opt for a few ducks this time? Do chickens and ducks get along that well? Just curious; I'm an 'ol farm girl at heart.

Last year I fell in love with the neighbors ducks that kind of adopted us after one of their dogs killed one of them and I was so sad when they were killed too. Since they were not officially our ducks I did not feel right putting them in the pen with my girls, plus there was a drake. So I figured ducks I raised would be even sweeter. I am hoping that raising the ducks with a couple little chicks it will make adding them to the flock easier. My friend Lisa over at Fresh Eggs Daily says they get along fine. I will introduce them slowly like I did the big girls now, cause last year they were the babies. I will put this big brooder in the run and then they can see each other but not get at each other and then after a week I will let them out and cross my fingers, lots of prayers all is good. Hugs, Di

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
