You must be thinking I am off my rocker?  Nope…well sometimes (I can see my hubby nodding his head)…but not this time.   When Stampin' Up! asked if I would demonstrate at Leadership I said sure, I am always honored to be asked. They wanted me to use the stamp sets that come with the kits in other ways.  So basically think outside of the "kit" box.

You all know I love "The Walking Dead". I love me some Daryl. (I may or may not have 6 little mini mysteries TWD characters on my desk).  Anyway, when I was looking at the sets they just screamed at me to make an ode to the zombies card. So I did it.  I also showed it at my rehearsal on Skype so that I made sure I was not going to be bad and they loved it so here goes.

The Walking Dead Diana Gibbs Stampin' Up! Close

Don't ya love it? It has everything…well mostly everything.  I mean even the greeting is perfect from Hooray It's Your Day.."Look who's turning"…turning get it? You turn into a zombie. Clouds from So You , trees from Wood You Be Mine.

The Walking Dead Diana Gibbs Wood You Be Mine

It even has an axe in the Wood You Be Mine? set, and look at the splatters from the Perpetual Calendar and dirt from Build a Bouquet.

And inside so you really can rest assured the card is usable to that fellow TWD fan.

Awesome card, Diana! You really did think outside the box on this one. Wish I could have seen your presentation; you are so talented yet so great at showing how you do things. It makes us believe we can do it, too!

I love this. You could use Gorgeous Grunge also for the blood and dirt. Thanks for the cool idea 🙂 Wendy

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
