I (Heart) Paper Pumpkin ~ Save during Sale-A-Bration
7 page PDF – How to Watercolor with Ink Refills
Isn't this butterfly die beautiful? Are you thinking that you have not had luck in the past with intricate dies because you have to pick all the pieces out?
Well head over to the laundry room and grab 2 – 3 dryer sheets. Everyones Big Shot is different so just experiment with how many you will need. Here is the order of how to build the sandwich in your Big Shot.
~ Magnetic Platform
~ Standard Cutting Pad
~ 2 – 3 dryer sheets unfolded (I use unscented and the cheapest ones I can buy)
~ cardstock
~ framelit
~ Standard Cutting Pad
and then run it through the machine, please never force it through. If it is too snug remove a dryer sheet.
Then after you run it through the framelit comes right off the cardstock and the pieces pop out so easily, some even stick on the dryer sheet. You can use the dryer sheets multiple times just make sure the little pieces of paper are cleaned off it. I also use a separate set of Cutting Pads for this method, the dryer sheets can leave a film on them, so I just wrote Dryer Sheet on them and then I know what ones to use.
We did this beautiful card at my 10/10/25 Thank you card class and everyone loved the dryer sheet trick. This card was cased and tweaked from a card I saw by Allison Okamitsu. Thanks Allison!
