Ruth 2014

Today I got a call from one of my dear friends Ruth that I had not seen in a few years, she was on my side of town picking up a foster dog to see about adopting him.  The guy she got him from said he would run so to make sure she had a hold of his leash when she got him out of the crate.  So she visited for a bit and then wanted to show me the dog. He is a cute daschund dashund weiner dog, so he had to potty so she let him out of his crate to go and she was holding the leash super tight, but the man failed to say that he might get out of the collar too.  He was out of the collar quicker than anything, and then we were trying to catch a dog for what seemed forever.

Around the property he would go and I know it had to be scary, then he got out down the road and we freaked in case he got out on the hard road, eventually he came back to our property but still would not come near us. Ruth called the guy she got him from and he showed up half an hour later, by now it was dark, it was like the dog knew he was coming cause then he was back where we could see him, the guy got out of his car, called the dog and and he went right to the man. For the love of pete, that was worse than chasing the roosters that time.

So anyway, our visit was not what we had hoped…ha!  But it was so great seeing her. Here's an old pic of us from 2004.

Ruth & I

Ruth looks amazing and has not changed a bit, in fact I was saying we gabbed like we had seen each other yesterday. I look like poop cause it was a stamping in your jammie day, but I quick got dressed when she called.

Have an awesome Monday and thanks for stopping in.

Doggie needs a harness instead of a collar! We do that with our pooch, as his head will slip right out of a collar!

I can just see you two chasing him around the yard!

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
