I watched the CMA’s the other night and I was glad I remembered to set the DVR I usually forget.  I like that Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley hosted it again, they are funny. When Carrie came out in her first dress (of many changes) I thought hey I could wear that but longer and then I realized it was a maternity dress and I was like well I could still wear it…ugh I need to lose these 10 pounds I put on.

Speaking of dresses there sure was a lot of short ones and barely there ones. I mean the girl that presented with Sam Hunt had to have been naked under hers, well maybe she had sticky strip on under there because it had lots of see through areas.  The girl that sang with Loretta Lynn had a short dress on and she said later that her pasted on undies came off so she had flung them back stage before she sang. I was like was she singing commando with Loretta Lynn? Do you say commando for a woman?  So here is this girl with a short dress and then Loretta had a gown clear to the floor, all the way down her arms and way up her neck, talk about from one extreme to another.

What the heck was Arianna Grande singing on the CMA’s for?

It was nice seeing and hearing George Strait, unfortunately, he had to sing with Eric Church and I am not a fan.

It was funny to see two of Tom Cruise’s wives during the show. Katie during the commercials and then Nicole (who was dressed so pretty) next to hubby Keith hubba hubba Urban. I can say that cause I have a hubba hubba husband too.

Tim McGraw’s band looked nice in their white tuxes, but please Tim don’t lose any more weight.

It was nice seeing Vince Gill receive the Irving Waugh award, only Johnny Cash has gotten it before and you know I am a little partial to Johnny.  I could not remember Vince having such long hair, and oh gosh when he cried, I cried.

It was nice to see the Doobie Brothers and I was tickled to watch Jennifer Nettles as she danced and sang, she was having a riot.

Jeff was asking me why Blake would not sing a song with his wife, not sure who the girl was that he sang with but she looked Lady Gaga in the face and I was afraid her dress would fall off if she moved wrong. Blake is so cute and awkward at the same time.

I noticed a lot of men in suits, like when they would go to the singers in the round little stages in the audience a lot of men were crowded around.

I always wonder why when they have so many country artists in the audience why they have singers sing more than once?

In fact it was nice seeing Garth Brooks but would have loved to hear him sing.

I did find this to share and this is a nice song, another one to get your kleenexes for. I cannot wait to get his new album.

Well this old gal is signing off.

Have an awesome Saturday and thanks for stopping in.

I do not like the grunge look on all these singers. Baseball hats turned backwards and ripped clothing is not for me. So glad to see some in tux though.

Thanks, Di, for posting Garth's song. I hadn't heard it and love it!

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
