Most woman might be greeted in bed on Saturday morning with their hubby saying "wake up darling I've made you crumpets for breakfast" and serve it up on a silver tray…
…not in this household…I was woken up today…by this…
…I don't sleep with my hearing aids in or my glasses on, so when Jeff woke me up and was handing me something, I thought well that's a nice biscuit you are bringing me but why isn't it on a silver tray? I said "what did you say, would I like jam?" and Jeff said "horny toad!" Well that got me up in a flash…"you're what?"
I had to find my camera. I have not seen one in years…I mean seriously…we had Penny and Jake and they had one penned up in the dog run and they have been gone for a long time.
We put him in a big plastic tub. Was I going to keep him? You know me, I love this kind of thing…well as long as it has legs….2 or 4..no more, definitely no less, legless lizards…no thank you! Then I looked online and they talked about them sqwirting blood out their eyes…what?
Which eye? So I read some more and all that he would need to make his environment livable and wild captive ones usually go into shock and starve themselves to death, and I did not want that…I mean really if I want one, I would go to the pet store and get one there…or I can go to my friend Mel's and look at her sons, they have them as pets…ok so found out hers are bearded dragons but they look similar.
So after Jeff assured me no blood would sqwirt out of his eyes or my fingers since he was not sharp, I held him and so cool! I mean this almost made me want to keep him.
Cause look how well he accompanies my new Tiffany ring.
He even wanted to touch it…plus look at the girls in the back, even they were saying…"We'll eat play with it!"
It would be like having a little dinosaur in the house right?
But alas I let him go…I will call him Lucky the Horned Lizard.
He looks so much more happier in this picture right? I mean look at that smile. Go on, find you a mate and make more!!
Where's Waldo Lucky?
Then Eric had a dentist appointment, his wisdom teeth are bothering him, so they wanted to take the top two out, the bottom are deep and are not bothering him. As we were driving over there Eric was saying "I am too strong I won't go to sleep", well they said it would take half an hour and I swear it was not even 15 minutes, and he was done. They said they barely had to give him any gas and he passed out and they even had trouble waking him up. Now he's got ice and pain meds and he is resting. Poor guy.
Have a blessed Sunday and thanks for stopping in.
