RIP Stella

This 'n' That

20 Apr

IMG_20140415_183600_819

Well just like Jeff predicted the other day when I was asking him about Stella, I was afraid he would have to put her down, and he said she would probably only live a few more days, well when I got up this morning and went out to feed them, Jeff ran over to tell me that Stella had died and he had buried her. I am so glad I took this picture of her the other day.  She was our last of the original girls and she was 4 years old.  I hope she enjoyed her time at our home, we definitely loved her and she had to be the best chicken ever, she got along with everyone.  I am so glad we got another Rhode Island Red when we got the babies. So when I see Polly I will be reminded of Stella.

This is one of my favorite pictures of Stella, she was a character.

Thanks Stella for adding a bright spot to my day, I will miss you.

Have a great evening and thanks for stopping in.

Hugs, Di

I am so sorry to hear of your loss! These little creatures sure get into our hearts and leave a hole when we lose them. You'll be in my prayers.

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
