SAB Banner Punch
Clothespin
Some buttons and a brad to finish make n takes
All their make n take supplies ready to stamp and assemble (we do the Big Shot work ahead of time – it takes a lot of time on our part but makes the day go faster).
One of the items everyone received was a packet of the new Fresh Prints DSP stack so the first few days I will show those projects.
Today's card was cased and tweaked by Deb Currier (thanks Deb!)
I love the saying cause after we got all the make n take envelopes stuffed, bagged and put in the blue bags (140 of them remember!) I was like oh wait we forgot to cut 1/4" off the front panel, so we asked everyone if they could bring their own small cutter so they could do it there. Luckily no one complained, we have the best stampers!
Cause as you can see the front of the card has the scalloped edge, and then it lays shut and you see the back of the card, like in picture two. We used a piece of the DSP to cover the little button on the front and it totally changed the look of it, what do you think?
Here are the supplies, I am trying out a new way to post the recipe…let me know if you like it. You can click on the item and it will take you right to my store if you need to order it.
Have an awesome Tuesday and thanks for stopping in.
That's a lot of stuff in the bags, Diana. You must give them a great price to have to "stuff" 140 of them. If I could attend, I would love to have all the makings for the projects. Do you share the cost? How do you get all the instructions across for so many? How many sessions do you have? Love to know more details. Curious.
You think of such clever ways to change things up. I love the idea of covering the front of the button. I don't always like using some kind of thread and I don't like leaving the holes showing. Another idea to try. Hope I can remember it. I love the idea of cutting off a portion of the card front to add a decorative edge and see the card base behind.
I also 'LOVE' the new way you are displaying the supplies used in the project. Pictures are much easier to clearly understand the items used, easier than just words.
Keep up the wonderful work you do!! I LOVE all your posts!
Hi Dorothy, Each event is different. This one was $58.00 per person to attend. Not sure what you mean by share the cost? A day or two before the event we email all the attendees a PDF file with the make n take pictures and tips so they can follow along with that. Rhonda and I have microphones and explain thing and walk around throughout the day to help. Our assistants stay at the borrow tables to keep everything under control there. This is a one day event a 9-4 days. Hugs, Di
Hi Sue,
Thanks for your sweet comment and letting me know you like the way I am showing the supplies. Hugs, Di
Diana…you answered my questions even better than I had hoped. Oh my goodness, I would gladly pay $58 for all that you are doing for the gals. Had no idea they got those pdf files and that you had microphones and all. What a great learning experience your workshops must be…you and Rhonda must take a lot of time working out all the details.
