Petal Parade Michelle Last case close

Well the Spring Fling supplies should be arriving any day, plus I figured my new sun glasses would be in today too, they always call on Wednesday…so I called my Bestie Rhonda and said "want to do some antique shopping while I wait for the doc to call?" The antique shops are like a block away from the eye doc. She said "sure". So we met and had a fun day, it sure went quickly, didn't it Rhon?

Here are a few of my finds.

005 copy

A cute blue enamel handled bowl for cards, the one I had there before was a Christmas bowl so now I can put it away. I loved that this still had the sticker on it.

006 copy

Don't judge me by the amount of Washi Tape I have…ha! Look how cute this metal dish is that holds them all. I had them in a glass jar and it was a pain in the butt having to pull them out to get to what I wanted, this is perfect.

007

My first piece of Ironstone pottery. I saw some others that I would love to have gotten, but I am starting out small.

013

A cute little suit case, Rhonda actually pointed it out, I had looked at some and they were so stained and gross inside this one was so clean and I just had to glue it in a few places, plus the vendor was in the booth and even gave it to me cheaper without me even asking. Toby is checking it out, we keep his toys in a smaller one in the house, so not sure if that was what he was looking for. I will  hang a cute banner along the top and have my cards for sale in the bottom when I do my Quarter events.

014

Closed with Inspector Toby still checking it out. Ha! I also got two white little suitcases that I am still undecided on so didn't take pictures of them yet. Rhonda said she might take them off my hands if they didn't work out for me.

So Rhonda had a shoebox swap the other night and the swap theme was Sale-A-Bration so I had to case this cute card by Michelle Last, she had different colors done and I liked the blue the best. Thanks Michelle!

Well this old gal is actually going to turn off the studio lights, sit on the couch with her feet up and watch some boob tube. Do we even say that anymore, or am I really dating myself…as I had to explain to Rhonda today what a chamber pot was (we actually used one at Poppa and Granny's when we were younger).

Have an awesome Thursday and thanks for stopping in…oh and my sunglasses did not come in…grrrr…

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
