It's been a week since we got the babies.
This is how big they were when I brought them home.
They fill the box up quite a bit more now. You can still tell who is who by their markings. And no I don't keep them in this box, I just put them in there while I cleaned out the brooder. It was windy as heck so I brought them in the house.
They will go back outside tomorrow.
Here's a closer look at them.
Laverne is getting a little bit darker. Look at her wings!
Shirley, look at those wings and green feet.
She is so fluffy and the biggest still.
Here's Polly, I should have put down a towel or something, she didn't know what to do on the cardboard, she wanted to sit down.
She is getting these little feathers, and I don't remember that when we had the chicks last year, but since they were outside being raised by Alice I didn't get this up close and personal with them.
Aunt Bea is still the smallest, her beak is getting dark and so are her legs. You can see her little comb growing.
Look at their cute bum feathers. "Does this angle make my butt look big?"
Aren't they getting big? They stretch their legs and wings all the time, can you imagine growing that fast?
Well this old gal is off to bed. I am so excited my sister Jacqui gets here tomorrow night. So today I finished laundry, cleaned carpets and tried to get most of my stamping done. Tomorrow I have errands to run…eek! So excited!!!!!!!!!!!!
Have an awesome Friday and thanks for stopping in.
Looks like you all had fun with the sleepover; no pj's needed lol.
Mary 🙂
