So the hen house (as I am calling it now instead of coop) is coming along.
Here it is with the door on. The left side will go up against the run and there will be a doggy chicken door so the girls can go in to sleep or lay eggs and then run around in the run the rest of the time. Need to ask Jeff how he will secure the run to the hen house so nothing pushes the fence away and gets to the girls while they sleep. I would never forgive myself if anything got them.
Here's another angle view. I think I will paint it red and white on the outside. What do you think?
Isn't this adorable? This is where the girls will lay their eggs. I am not sure if it will sit up off the floor a bit more or not when Jeff is done (I went out and took pictures when Jeff was in watching football). I am thinking I want to paint the inside a pool party color, any opinions on that? I know I am in charge of painting Jeff said.
To make myself accountable, I am starting the Fast Metabolism Diet, I got my steel cut oats soaking in the fridge. Wish me luck and if you are doing it too, let me know what you think.
Have an awesome Monday and thanks for stopping in.
I love it and I know your girls will love it too! I am painting my stamping space pool party with a splash of red and white so of course I love your color choices Diana! Can't wait to see the finished product. 🙂
