Mystery Hostess Online Workshop Ends August 15
I have received such beautiful get well cards and I wanted to share them with you.
This is the very first get well card I got, in fact I had just got out of the recovery room (don't even remember that) and had eaten my lunch (the first real food I had eaten since Friday at lunch) and Pam Morgan from Stampin' Up! came to visit me, she is the Vice President of Demonstrator & Employee Development, she had called Rhonda to find out where I was, they always tease they are cousins. I just love her and it made me feel so special. She wasn't there too long when Rich and Wendi Jutkins joined her. I just love Wendi, we have become great friends over the years, and I treasure our friendship. When Rich sees me at events he will usually say "she's looking for you" or "make sure you text her". Rich is a cutie patootie (can I say that about the President and COO of Stampin' Up!?) Well it is true, he is an amazing man and we couldn't have a better guy as President! Thanks Pam, Rich & Wendi so much for coming to see me.
Isn't this card beautiful? I cased it for Rhonda's swap, will be doing it for club and also a workshop I have coming up. Why reinvent the wheel right? Especially when it's gorgeous!
Paper: Very Vanilla, Brushed Gold, Vellum Cardstock, Epic Day This and That DSP
Ink: Tangerine Tango
Misc: Elegant Butterfly, Square Lattice embossing folder
I will continue to share the cards over a while, and it will also give me time to catch up, get my punch class prepared and get Fall Fest prepared as well….ok? In fact look what showed up on my door step today…
…Fall Fest supplies are here! This is half of them Rhonda gets the other half!!
So this old gal is headed to bed.
Have an awesome Saturday and thanks for stopping in.
So glad you are on the mend and how nice of Pam, Rich and Wendi to visit you at the hospital. I have been following your story and can`t believe how brave you were to get through all of this away from home. To have this happen at convention must have been so upsetting, but so glad that you have so many caring individuals in your life to pick up your spirits! 🙂 You are such a positive lady and have such a tremendous sense of humour, that I am sure you have handled this much better than most people! I enjoy reading your blog and hope that you continue the rest of the year in good health and happiness! Jennifer, Calgary, Alberta
Hi Jennifer, well it sure put a damper on the 25th Anniversary. I teased later and said what did I expect on my 13th convention in the year 2013…ha! I can laugh now, but it was not so funny then. I am so lucky I had so many friends helping and praying for me, especially my bestie Rhonda, I really don't know what I would have done without her. She kept Jeff all up to date as he was walking the floors at home worrying. God is good and all is well now. Big hugs, and drink your water – Di
