Mystery Hostess Online Workshop – Ends July 10
I was working on thank you cards today and Jeff has a couple days off so this week will be weird again to me, whatever will it be like when he retires?
This is one of the new sets from the Holiday catalog, I love it cause I love to color.
This is very similar to the sample in the holiday catalog…I might actually case the one from the catalog for swapping cause it is too stinking cute…hopefully people would not mind.
Stamp Set: Truly Grateful
Paper: Note card
Ink: Crushed Curry, Sahara Sand, Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight, Soft Sky, Pool Party, Baked Brown Sugar, Pumpkin Pie
Misc: Aqua Painter to splatter the dots (I need to practice more with this)
Here are some photos of SRP replacing the power poles that were knocked down the other night (31 total were knocked down). I got these pictures off of Facebook. Thanks Valerie for pointing them out to me.
I would be scared to do this. Thank goodness they know what they are doing, and all is well now.
Oh and this is another news video which shows more of our friend's shop and also explains what a microburst is. You can also get an idea of how far all that heavy metal flew. I have not been up there yet, Jeff and I are going to go to lunch tomorrow so it will be the first time I will see it. With all the news footage I feel like I have, but Jeff says it is still all over the road. Oh and at 00.08 of the video you can see Eric walking over to see the neighbor. I said I would like his autograph and he rolled his eyes.
Well this old gal is off to beddie bye.
Have an awesome Tuesday and thanks for stopping in.
WOW! That's very scary looking! So glad you are all OK and the clucks!
Aunt Jacqui wants his autograph too!!!!! he's a celebrity now!!
Crazy the amount of damage there was done, but good explanation of a microburst for sure.
Luv ya
Jax
I love this set, I just ordered it…..I'd be "Thankful" if you cased and swapped like the one in the catalog {wink}
WOW the damage is incredible. Love this card and looking forward to seeing you next week.

It's amazing how similar the stamped shock of wheat is to the remains of the snapped off power pole. So glad you're all okay!
Alice, I thought the same thing when I was looking at my post today.
Sally, I can't wait to see you!!!
Hi Jo, thanks I just might do that!
I will tell him little sis! Mwah and love you
Hi Sue, thanks we were very lucky!!!
