Download or whatever, pics from my camera, will do that tomorrow. Here are a couple that I got off of Facebook or friends sent me.
This started me crying right from the start of convention, Shelli walked on stage alone with a voice over talking about you can't do things alone, and her family came on stage, first Sterling her hubby, then the girls, then their hubbys and then their kids, I was crying, this probably started my dehydration…ha!
Then later they showed an amazing video about special needs adults making cards and that about sent me out of the room sobbing out loud (I could picture Eric and his friends doing the same thing)…luckily my wrist band color came up and I won a door prize and that got my mind off it. But I definitely want to talk to Eric's boss and see if they would be interested in making cards to sell. I remember when Eric was in school his class came one day on a field trip to my studio and they had a blast. Some were better at taping than stamping, some were better at cutting, it depends on their limitations. It was amazing to watch them.
Convention is all about friendships, and here are a few pictures I have so far…will share more another time.
Jacque Henry and I, we were saying we were dressed the same.
MAMMa, Becky Roberts, me and Rhonda Morgan (my angel)
Rhonda, Kevin Theesen, and me.
Kim Sinclair & me – guess we are the stoner twins now…since she gets kidney stones too.
They had a special recognition room we could go to and we could say things on these boards, this is my Wish You Were Here! I sure hope you can come next year.
Well that is it for me, today was a bit busy, Eric is not feeling well, he has a bad back, please God let it be just from lifting furniture and not a kidney stone. So he went to the doc today and will be home from work tomorrow too. Hope to hear test results tomorrow.
Have an awesome Friday and thanks for stopping in.
