How to Watercolor Tutorial

Unfortunately, I got both of those. Do you ever wonder where nick names or slang come from? I know that growing up in Canada we said things differently than in the US, probably cause of the British/French influence?? I say that with a ?? cause I was horrible in history and in geography…art, music and reading were my thing…oh and chatting…yeah I always had some little note on my report card, "likes to chat", "too talkative"…oops! Good thing I grew out of that eh?

I hosted a swap recently with my downline and it was a New Catalog Copy Swap, meaning they chose a card out of the catalog and made it, this is nice to show that we don't have to come up with our own stuff all the time, and it also shows how amazing our catalog is for ideas. This card is made by Camille Barton (awesome Camille!) and it is on page 61 and it is a box and she turned it into a card. That was also what you could do too, and several girls did that.  I will show you the rest over the next while so I can get everything done for my classes this weekend and my tons of stuff I need to do for convention.

Lovely Romance Camille

Stamp Set: Lovely Romance

Paper: Calypso Coral, Island Indigo, Very Vanilla, Venetian Romance DSP, Crumb Cake

Ink: Island Indigo

Misc: Linen thread, Rhinestone, Chalk Talk Framelit

So I challenge you to sit down with the catalog and copy a card/box/whatever right out of there. I love it for when your mojo gets stuck…ha!

What's that? How do you know what is used on the card/box/whatever? Well it is as simple as this:

Download 2013 – 2014 Catalog Supplies

I was going to send you to my website to get the list and then I was not sure where it was on there, (they are updating our websites) so this was easier. I atually printed it out and I keep it with my catalog.

Have an awesome Thursday and thanks for stopping in.

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
