Well that was the fastest hour ever. I have been waiting what seems like months since they have been teasing us about this mini series starting and it was only on for an hour? What? I sure hope the next ones are like 2 hours long, or this mini series will go on forever. So far so good though, it seems like it is going along with the book that I read a few years ago.  I am not sure about the Barbie story line though with the dead guy, many Stephen King books have the producer making changes from the book...don't get me started on Cujo.  I have been a Stephen King fan for ages, I own all his books and have read them all. Well except the Gunslinger series and I will get back to that eventually. That is one of the things on my bucket list, to meet Stephen King. Never say never right?

I wanted to share this adorable card that my sweet friend and downline Betty Bogner made for our swap, I love the colors and the new punch and embossing folder! EEK!! Thanks Betty.

I have had a few people ask me if they could do their own book parties and use the Hostess Code, and the answer is a big yes.  If you want to be a Hostess and have your friends from near and far order and you earn Hostess benefits, that is so easy to do with the new Hostess Code. So let me know if you want to do this and I can give you your own personal Hostess Code for you and your friends.

Well this old gal is off to bed I have more shares to get out tomorrow. Don't forget to let me know if you want one...or two.

Have an awesome Tuesday and thanks for stopping in.

So did you watch that guy walk across the Grand Canyon? I don't know but if I was his wife I think I would leave him, because I could not handle that worrying and then the kids are right there, what if he fell? Thank God he is ok, but I say retire and enjoy your life and your beautiful family.

I wanted to show this gorgeous card made by Connie Ingram. I love it Connie! I love how she used the printed window sheet from the Quatrefancy Specialy DSP pack and it matches the Modern Mosaic embossing folder. Sweet!

Really you are.

I have had a few people ask me about the bakers twine on the wooden spools picture that I showed  yesterday. This is the bakers twine that Stampin' Up! sells, it comes on a piece of cardboard and I wanted it to be cute, so I had wooden spools that I had from Granny, my BFF Tracy gave me some, I even got some while I antique shop and I think Rhonda even gave me a few from her Mum. I just wrapped them around and around....and around, it is something you can do when you are watching tv. They look cute eh? I love to re-purpose things...obviously eh by the things I buy here and there. I wish things could talk cause could you imagine if you knew the story behind the old items we buy?

So as soon as I saw this card in the catalog I could not wait to order the set and make it.  I do have to practice with the ink refill in the spritzer though. I also used an edgelit for the border and the catalog used a punch.

Painting the ring finger on your hand a different nail color? I am a bit anal, ok I am a lot anal, but I am trying to be better, I mean my germafobe is getting better after being in Fiji. So today I had running around to do so ran in and got my nails done. I had seen this on Pinterest (they had a little Mickey Mouse head but I left that off).

008
Cute eh? Eek, look how my old fingers are twisting. I don't think I could do a whole hand this way, even Selena who does my nails said I couldn't handle it...ha! Does she know me or what?

So then I was near one of my favorite antique places, it is where I got the infamous guest bed and I just had to go, I had seen a little table the last time I was in and got my washi tape hanger and was hoping it was still there...and it was.

009 copy
I was originally going to put it in the house, but it fits perfectly next to my desk...not sure this stuff will permanently be on it, I was just trying it out. Can you see Toby?

010 copy
I won't be painting this beauty, look at the neat design on the top, it looks like it is wood inlay..is that a word?

011 copy
So Toby said "Mummy, you can't just take a picture of my ear, especially since that table is taking the spot of where my bed used to, so please take a picture of all of me since I am a big boy and not scared of the camera anymore."

What else have I been doing? Product shares! Lots of them...thanks everyone!

Look how cool this is (picture is not that good sorry). On the left is one of the new Simply Pressed Clay flowers. You add it to the mold let it dry and pop it out. I love them plain, but look how cool it looks after it has dried I put crystal effects on it and let it dry, it almost looks like porcelain.

Oh and did you see this little guy?

019 copy
He's the guarder of the bakers twine...and on that note I am going to sign off....and say the right day, I realized I said the wrong day on today's (yesterday's post).

Have an awesome Friday and thanks for stopping in.
