Mystery Hostess Online Workshop – Ends June 8

…Paint!

So I said that we had to get a new a/c for my studio and Jeff took the old wall one out and now there is a hole there.

Hi hole!  I just stuck a few things up there to make it not so noticeable…ha!

So this is what I think will go there…Jeff will hang it tomorrow and we will see.  The mirror will be a bit high cause it need to cover that frame that was around the old unit but I don't think anyone is putting on makeup or doing their hair in class.

Here is what I picked up the other day, it was a steal at $25.00 and the perfect size, you should have seen me with my little wooden 6" ruler I keep in my purse measuring it. So today after class I ran to Home Depot and picked up some paint. The guest room is white chic and the studio is a vanilla chic so I had to get a different can.

So here it is painted.  Tomorrow I might rub and shabby it a bit more, but not tonight.  I also am not that good of a painter, if I do more of this kinda of stuff I need to invest in a sprayer. Brushes and rollers are not that good.

Plus I used grid sheets to protect the mirror and that probably was not the best thing to do (Jeff tells me after I did it)…what a mess getting it out, I had slid it under and blech the paper was sticking and tearing. Now those of you that paint regularily are probably saying that is painting 101 and it probably is.

So after it gets hung I will post a picture, I think it will be fun to display cards or whatever on the shelf and how cute will a banner be hanging on the mirror…hmmm…what to hang on the knobs?

Have a blessed Sunday and thanks for stopping in.

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
