RIP Alice

This 'n' That

2 Apr

The girls 006 copy

You were a good chicken. I am so glad that she was able to hatch babies last year, she was a good Mum. She has not been her usual self for the last while and today when I got up to feed them, she had died during the night.

I had a migraine all day long, so when Jeff got home from work he buried her. Now Gertie and Alice can catch up.

On a happy note. Thank you so much for your interest in my Mini Masterpieces.

Have an awesome Tuesday and thanks for stopping in.

So sorry to hear about Alice! I guess chickens don't live forever, but it must still hurt. At least I know it would for me. :^)

Ah..sorry to hear about Alice. Did something get at her, or do they not have that long of a life span? I'm sure Granny and Poppa are feeding her and Gertie spaghetti noodles up there.
    Luv ya

So sorry to hear about your little Alice. Our family members can be furry, feathery, or finny, but they are still members of our families, and it still can hurt. Hope you feel better soon. {{hugs}} (from your neighbor up north in Utah.)
