Mystery Hostess Online Workshop Ends Today – Don't Miss Out!
Well maybe more like 200 to convert all my wood mount….oh and yesterday was my 2000 post! Wow, whoulda thunk it eh?
But check out this fun video (love the music and Eek! sneak peeks!) I can get all matchy matchy with my clear mount and wood mount…love it!
So I didn't give my 2 cents on The Voice or Survivor so here goes…(you would laugh I have a little note book I keep notes in…)
The Voice:
Night 5 of the blind judging, yet the judges are all wearing the same clothes, figure they have several of the same outfits so that when they tape the show we might not really see it in order and we won't know cause the clothes are the same…so if Shakira had on a red dress and then a black dress, and through out the episode it went back and forth that would be weird…that is what I am thinking anyway, cause I am sure this all was not taped in one day.
So to the singers…
Jeff (nice name) – he is a golfer guy, and they waited till almost the last minute and final Usher spun around – Usher Team
Shawna – lots of facial expressions while she sang, so raspy and Janis Joplin like, I can't wait to hear her sing other stuff – Shakira team
Caroline – so cute, and I loved her voice and I so hoped that she would pick Blake and she did.
So my crazy DVR was jittery…do they go bad or was perhaps the show jittery the first night? anyway, I missed a bunch.
Cameron – he should apply for so you think you can dance, cause no one spun around, yet he entertained the audience with all his wiggling around.
Micheal – the tat man…oh wait, he is a deputy, wow he didn't look like it…till they showed him in his police dress. He was pitchy what I could hear between the tape jitters – Adams team
Sasha – very good she sang a Dixie Chicks song – if I remember right all the judges wanted her and I was suprised she picked Adam over Blake.
Matt – he should have sang a different song and maybe someone would have picked him
Mary – sang spanish, loved the beat and she is adorable – Shakiras team
Grace – she is channeling Priscilla Presley or Loretta Lynn's hairdo from way back then, and then she sang and old song, she is odd and unique sounding. She would play guitar and strum but not use her other hand for the notes half the time. – Blakes team.
Jane – another old fashioned looking hairdo. She had a sad back story and she was so sweet. No one picked her. While she sang her microphone spread her lipstick above her lips and under nose, by the time she want back stage someone must have told her cause it was gone.
Ryan – Zac Brown look kinda, I was trying to think what he was going to sing before he started, he was awesome – Ushers team
6th and last night of Blind judging –
Mark – he looked kinda Three Muskateers like – he had a cool back story and no one picked him, I think he might have been fun for a while
Jacqui – OMG so she has a nose ring like a cow (my cousin had one…he even still might), noticed when she sang she had pushed it up inside her nose so the judges couldn't see it. Well if you tilt your head enough its like you have shiny boogers. She is very unique and her song version was fun, I am going to enjoy watching her. – Blakes team.
Amber – sad back story, she looks so much like her Mum – Adam's team
Dustin – like a nerdy Clark Kent, it was pitchy and not the best song, how sad to sing to chairs that never spin around.
Luke – Nice voice and I loved the song, I swear Shakira would wait to see if someone would spin before she did a lot of the time – Shakira's team
Jessica – adorable and awesome song…and she ended the auditions – Ushers team
So next week looks interesting. I have never watched the whole show before, I only caught the last three people last year, so I guess you can steal singers and it looks like a bunch will go home next week.
OK so if I have not bored you here we go onto Survivor…
Although I like that Malcolm got picked so soon to be on the show I do believe he thinks he is all that and a bag of chips. Needs to be cut down a peg.
So they were showing this little monkey and then a snake and then the monkey and I was like if he falls out of the tree and the snake eats him…but if it did they didn't tape it.
So Phillip starts his nutso Stealths R Us thing and naming more people, I don't know how he remembers who is who and how people don't laugh in his face.
So Sherri had this paint on the side of her arm and I was wondering where she got that? No one else had it. Oh and where did all these head bands suddenly come from? This one has on one, this one has on two.
They did the first challenge and I thought gee is Phillip purposely going to lose it like he said he did before? So a bunch of the guys one and off they went to rapel down a waterfall and eat. I had a hard time hearing what they were saying cause of all the background noises. Someone must have given Cochran 200 SPF because he is not burning anymore.
So then there was lots of flirting to figure out who wanted to vote who and scheming and how they know what lie they told this person and that person, yowza!
So the final immunity challenge had me cowering in the corner just listening to what they had to do, too clostraphobic for me. They had to be in the water under a metal grate while the tide came up and then if you came out from under the grate you were out. It was making me panic watching that water go over their faces and in their noses, they slowly started quitting but the two girls were left at the end, and Brenda, never moved once she used her hands like a funnel and hung her leg on the grate and kinda floated, she must have really practiced at home or something.
So the immunity trial and Phillip talked a whole big spiel and totally confused me. Then they voted and then when Jeff Probst said if anyone has an idol and wants to turn it in and Reynolds stands up to turn his in. Then Malcolm said give it to me, its my name being voted out, so Reynolds gave it to him!!! What the heck? Malcolm has the other idol and no one knows…well Corrine did and she got voted off last week. So this was sneaky. Then Malcolm's name was not even written down once!!! Poor Micheal got kicked off but he is the first jury guy. So now he probably stays at a hotel and eats food without bugs in it now. So next week looks good, Dawn is freaking out and I wonder when/if Malcolm will play his idol and the people will be so surprised.
OMG! what a long post…of me blabbering about silly stuff, keeps my mind off it being Granny's birthday today. She would have been 94. I miss her.
Well I'm gonna hit the hay.
Have an awesome Friday and thanks for stopping in.
I don't watch either The Voice OR Survivor so I just skimmed over that part but slowed down towards the end, just in time to hear that it was your beloved grandmother's birthday. I was sorry to hear when you lost her and just as sorry to hear the sadness that remains with you but, how lucky were you to have her in your life for so long? I lost my grandma when she was just 62 so celebrate her life, don't mourn her passing. God bless…..
Hi Diana,
I'm watching The Voice, too, and had trouble Monday night…we get it via DirecTV (satellite) and it was sooo windy + a thundershower or 2, I think that's why it was breaking up all the time.
