Last month my downline and I did a masculine swap and I wanted to make a video showing how I did my card. The card is based on one by a sweet Canadian cutie named Renee Van Stralen. Thanks Renee!

Stamp Set: The Open Sea, Sketched Birthday

Paper: Very Vanilla, Basic Black, Baja Breeze, World Spectacular DSP

Ink: Jetblack Stazon, Baja Breeze, Crumb Cake, Sahara Sand, Cherry Cobbler

Misc: Blender pen, Basic Gray Taffeta ribbon

The inside is fun, I need to do this more often.

The pieces have been sitting on my desk for me to do the video and I finally got around to doing it today. I have a couple little minor boo-boo's. Couldn't remember if I had glued the red striped paper first (but tested before I glued…smart) and also I set the Sketched Birthday stamp set on top of my black card piece and couldn't find it while I was taping, so had to stop and start again in a spot, there was also a little bug crawling around, guess he wanted to go sailing too…oh well it's all fun eh? I hope you enjoy the video.

I mentioned in the video about a watercoloring tutorial, here is the link to the PDF.

Have a Happy Easter and thanks for stopping in.

Thanks for the video. I really sppreciate these. Liked your use of glue dots…going to use those ideas. Loved that this is a guy card. Those are so hard to come by.

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
