…isn't always gold. It's Champagne!

Isn't this a pretty card? It was one I got in my friend Robin Merriman's GoDiva swap, and Selene Kempton is the artist. Love it Selene.

I follow this forum called Backyard Chickens and I have learned so much stuff over there. Look at this funny cartoon that got posted.

Chicken cartoon

Makes me laugh cause today when I was outside I heard Alice making her big racket when she lays an egg, I mean she cackles and goes on and on, so I see her coming out of the nesting box and go to get her egg, and she didn't even lay one, it was Fiji's so I guess she was just announcing, "egg!egg! come get the egg!". Crazy girl!

So I finally got a picture of the boys. I only had my phone outside, so I will have to take my camera out one day. They are not like the older girls and pose for pictures, they scoot away, but they are getting a bit better as they get older.

Left to right: Chaquita (sorry I know he's a boy but he gets stuck with a girl name), Butterball, Edgar Allen Poe, and Mr. T.  - so hard to believe that Chaquita and Butterball were little yellow chicks when they were born.  The first night they were out I worried a bit cause they paced the run trying to figure out how to get back in, then they flew up onto the top of the run, but now they have a routine, right before it gets dark they all fly up and roost in the tree.

Speaking of a rooster roosting in a tree.

How about my hubby laying plywood down in "his loft". He had a shop built and he built an office in there to keep his hunting stuff, and above it and along the wall he is putting plywood to store stuff up there. Way cool, except spiders and stuff…ugh, I need to have our pest control company go in there and spray. He says that's how it will be. Blech. I guess that is why it's a man cave.

Well this old gal is off to bed.

Have an awesome Friday and thanks for stopping in.

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
