Free Stamp Set of the Month – Carry On

Welcome back baby, I'm sorry I ever left you.  Isn't she beautiful? I'll tell you more about her later.

So today was a busy day, not work wise since I got NOTHING DONE! Tomorrow will be a big catch up day!!!

I got up early to register for Leadership in Orlando in January and then I was going to go back to bed, but then I went out and saw Jeff in his new shop and fed the chickens and got a second wind…that is a pun cause of the chicken poop…so anyway, I just got ready for the day. I had to be in Mesa at 10am to get my passport picture taken (Canadian passports are only good for 5 years). I met the DirectTV guy as he turned down our road and Jeff said he fixed it really fast. Yay for surround sound again.

So I got my passport picture done, OMG! I look like an old woman when I don't wear my glasses, my eyes are not the same shape, and the glasses hide it, plus they don't want you to smile and distort your face. Ewww…poor Jeff to have to sleep with that face.

So then I headed over to Verizon to get my phone switched to My Precious and then Jeff's phone turned into my Samsung. Jeff is getting used to having a smart phone and I am in heaven, the Droid is so much easier to use and it fits my  hand better, and it is lighter and LOUDER, thank you Motorola.  I got a RAZR M and I have my docking station back so I have an alarm clock again that I can see the time and I even have a dealie so that when I use my GPS (that I will be able to hear now!!!) it can mount on the window or dash so I can actually see it, it came with some other stuff too but will have to figure it out.

After I got home I told Jeff we should run Eric over to set his new IPhone 4 set up, Mike wasn't able to come over today and I knew Eric would be bummed, so as soon as Eric got home from work we headed over and got his phone all set up.  Using it to help him figure it out makes me love My Precious even more, it is so confusing and heavy.  He needs that kind cause it has better apps for speech problems and stuff.

Then it was like almost supper time and since I have classes this weekend and there is a neighborhood block party we said we would do Eric's birthday supper early, so we went to Olive Garden and it was yummy. I was good and ate not quite half my meal and packed it up for Jeff's lunch tomorrow.  I don't want my weightloss to become a weightgain cause I can slip so easy.

So anyway, we got home in the dark and I have nothing stamping to share with you, except a fun day of the whole Gibbs' family has smart phones now…heaven help us, should have seen us at dinner, I was trying to show Jeff how to work my old phone and we were just guessing on what to do for Eric's.

Too funny, the only thing the same is the black phone/case.  Jeff's is all  manly, the Superman S, the Home Depot and Lowes apps and he has it on military time. Mine is so pretty, and Eric's is a bunch of square blocks, not sure how to personalize it or even if you can. We got him a nice sturdy case that totally encases the phone.

Have an awesome Wednesday and thanks for stopping in.

haha! You're so funny with those fancy cell phones that do Lord-knows-what-all and I don't even own one little cell phone, ipad or Kindle! How fancy [and sweet] is the Gibbs family? Enjoy your Precious…..

To personalize an iPhone you just go to settings and go from there. It is a really easy phone to learn and use. Have fun!

Where did you get your application for your passport and where are you sending it to? I remember last time I did it, it was a royal pain. I want to travel again, and mine is expired:(

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
