Free Stamp Set of the Month – Carry On
Well today we came into the 21st century and got a DVR, I called yesterday and they were out to install it today. The technichian was very helpful and explained how to do stuff, I need to read up though as I forgot a few things. After he left I noticed that he did not hook the surround sound back up so I called the company and the lady said that is not part of the installation and there would be a cost. I was like "umm, it was hooked up when he came, he unhooked it, so he should have hooked it back up", so she was gonna have him call, he had not called back in 4 hours so I called back and got a nicer lady and she apologized for the inconvenience and agreed with me. She also said it could take 24 hours for the tech to call (the other lady did not tell me that). I hope he calls and fixes it cause we have no clue how to do it, and its not like we bought a brand new system and are asking them to start from scratch.
I wanted to share a cute card I got from my friend Kristine John, I love the half circles for the banner, it makes it more feminine I think. Thanks Kristine.
Ink: Island Indigo
Paper: Summer Smooches, Whisper White, Island Indigo
Misc: Chevron Embossing folder, Itty Bitty punch pack, 1" Circle punch, pearls, Island Indigo bakers twine
A few of you have asked how to do the cute pop out Christmas tree card on page 181 of the catalog. My sweet friend Shannon West from Stampin' Up! taped an awesome video so you can see how to do it. So fun!! I hope I sized the video right so it displays properly and so you can also click through to YouTube if you want to watch it there and catch some of the other awesome videos by Stampin' Up! If not I will come back and fix it, it won't show me in my preview panel dealiebob.
So I weighed in today (in my bathroom, not anywhere official) and I am down 5.4 pounds since I started being sensible with my eating and trying not to eat sugar over 5g if I can avoid it. So I am reading labels a lot more. I mean OMG! 5 pieces of licorice is 16 grams of fat…heck I would eat 20. So I realize I don't want licorice that bad.
I have a scrapbook class tomorrow, so I better sign off and get to bed.
Have an awesome Saturday and thanks for stopping in.
Congrat's on the losing of the 5 lbs, I think I found them…..lol….
Such a cute card Diana! I think I might just have to CASE it for my Thank You card class next month. 🙂
Good job on the weight loss too! WOOHOO!!
