Since I can hardly keep my eyes open tonight.

This morning as I was doing my chores (I like to call it that) I pushed on the water thing to give my foot leverage to move 100 pounds of sand, and then I didn't feel anything right away but when I was done with chores I thought I was having a heart attack. I couldn't take deep breaths and I couldn't raise my left arm, I had a pain under my left boob and in my back. My sister in law just had a gallbladder attack and I remember she could not keep anything down, so I drank some water, and I didn't get sick so I figured it was not that. I knew it was not a kidney stone, I had that last year.

Of course Jeff had my Nitro as his truck was getting worked on, so I called him at work "what side is your heart on" and he was like "the left, why" so I told him what I was feeling and he was like call Bill (our neightbor) and go to the doctor. So I called Bill and asked him what it felt like when he had his heart problems and his was a different feeling that I had, and he said it sounded like I pulled a muscle, and then I said what I had been doing, so he told me to rest and it slowwwllly went away. I am still a tiny bit sore, but will be better tomorrow…I just need to realize I am not Hercules..ha!

So that being said I am going to say night night and hit the hay. Sorry it's a boring post.

Have an awesome Thursday and thanks for stopping in.

Oh my goodness girl! You need to be careful! Heart attack signs in women sounds exactly like what you had! Mens' signs are totally different from ours! Please call your Dr and tell the receptionist what happened. I bet they will want to do an EKG to make sure you are ok.
I'll be saying a little prayer for you:)

Glad to hear you are feeling better, but please keep in mind that women's heart attack symptoms are often very different than men's.

Hi Diana: Signs of a heart attack in a woman are much different than they are for men. Google women and heart attacks, and read over those symptoms. I'm glad you are feeling better now though!

I don't mean to scare you, on the other hand, yes I do, GO TO THE DR!!! 3 years ago, my brother had a weekend of severe back pain, even went to urgent care, then on Monday morning, had a heart attack at his desk and died instantly. Please go and get checked out!!! We love you too much!!

Sounds like some of the problems I had and, if diagnosed early enough, can be helped with lots of physical therapy to strength the muscles/tendons around your shoulder. Don't wait too long and, if surgery is suggested, try PT first. On the other hand, my California doctor thought PT would be a cure all but he never did an x-ray or MRI to actually see what it was; he just thought he knew w/o those tests. When I moved here and went to a Sports Injury doc, he did x-rays and MRIs so he could see what it actually was. I've never been very happy with my shoulder surgery, performed 2 years ago, for 3 torn tendons & a slipped bicep muscle, but that could be because I'm older than you; on the other hand, I cannot use the weight machines in the gym since then so I'm turning to jelly [things the doc forgot to tell me before the surgery] I'll never be able to use the machines cuz I have a 'repaired shoulder'. Don't know if it was the doc, my injuries, or the fact that I had the condition over 2 years already. Just be careful and do your own homework instead of blinding believing what a doc would say. You know, they call them 'practicing' doctors for a reason! Good luck! AND sorry for rambling! cluck-cluck

Hope you feel better today? Take it slow and easy for a few days and you should get back to normal soon. Take Care – Sandi

please just to be on the safe side go get checked by a doctor. If it is just a pulled muscle, then great. But if it's a warning sign and you should listen to your body, then go.

Hi Diana – I'm the Maria that always sits next to you and Becky at Convention and I just had to leave a comment. I hope you go to the doctor and insist on a referral to a cardiologist! My husband just recently passed away due to a heart attack and the doctor told me the same thing everyone else is saying; men and women have different symptoms. So, please don't wait, please make an appointment because you are so special and talented and like everyone else has said, we need you around! Hugs

Ok, so why didn't you go to the hospital!!!!
No fooling around and guessing when you have those kind of symptoms!!! Please go to the doctors and explain what happened and get their opinion. That sounded too scary!! 🙂

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
