Ok, let me try this again since last night it got all messed up and then lost. I am writing it in word and then copy and pasting…I am not sure if I can add pictures over there and do that too, so I will just add them here.
I did finally go to bed for almost two hours cause Jeff had
to take me to the airport on his way to work so I got there before even
Starbucks opened. It was nice once my
friend Lorri Heiling got there so then I had someone to chat with. This is her first time so it is fun to watch everything unfold in her eyes.
The flight was quick which was good as every so often there
was the smell of poo. After about three
times we both looked at each other and said “you smell that right?”. It was
nice to finally land.
We ran into a bunch of other girls headed to Founder’s
Circle too, and then we got on the next little plane that takes us to St.
George, and it is really little, I mean the over head compartments would not even
hold a big purse maybe, but it is a short flight.
Once we got here we were starved. Lorri’s room was ready and
mine wasn’t so I just stuck my stuff in there. We went down and played Plinko
in the gathering place and I won cotton ribbon. We also picked up our name
tags. Then we had a delicious lunch, they set up a Panini bar.
So this picture makes me think I need to cut my hair. Jeff likes it long but ugh, what do you think? Some days it looks good but some days…geesh.
We checked and my room was ready, so I grabbed my stuff and
headed down the hall, my bag got caught on one of the cleaning carts and down I
went, luckily my knee broke the fall and not my nose. I was embarrassed and the ladies asked if I
was ok, then they chatted to each other in another language, I am sure they
were saying how cute my flip flops were, I think being tired was catching up
with me. I showed you my door tag
yesterday.
I got all unpacked, and saw I had a bigger room this year,
or at least it seems that way cause it is one big bed with a couch. Home away
from home…well someone makes my bed here…ha!
I did manage to take an hour or so nap and that felt
better. We had our Welcome reception
around the pool and this is where we find the rest of our team mates, I am on
the Gulf Beach team. OMG! So when I saw Shelli I was so glad that I did not
pack my Breaking Dawn outfit cause she had it on…well she had an adorable
cardigan and is way skinnier than me but still I would have been so embarrassed.
After our welcome reception we headed off to dinner, and the tables were decorated so cute.
We got a cute personalized stamp.
We started out with three slices of tomatoes, blue cheese, basil and balsamic vinegar, we also got corn bread.
Then they started bringing out bibs…and it had a lobster picture on it.
This year’s theme is beach. We had to ask and answer questions with our team mates around the pool and now would be when we could share with the room.
Here's my Gulf Beach Gang, Front Row: Dawn, Rolanda, Audra. Back Row: Me, Connie, Jodi & Patty
Supper was yummy, crab legs, corn, potatoes, chicken, and even clams…thank goodness I had had clams at my BFF Tracy's before so I knew I liked them. They were served in these cute vanilla metal dishes and they are going to wash them and give them back to us…fun!
And for dessert…
Blueberry cake and ice cream. Sorry about the carmex, I need to stop doing that.
After dinner I brought my swaps down to the dining room area and Sherri, Susie, Alanna & Audra helped me finish them…Thanks girls, you are the best.
Then I headed off to bed, what a fun first day it was…as I type this it is day two and I have been having fun again, but I think it is nap time.
Talk to you again soon! Thanks for stopping in.

can't wait to read more. I wish I was there.

Sounds like you are having a great time. But with Stampin' Up! who wouldn't
I think you should wear your hair the way your Hubby likes it. After all its a small, simple thing you can do to show your love for him! 😀
I wear my hair long, also because my Huz likes it that way, and he gives me lots of compliments.
Hugs,
Candy
